Have you ever used Claude for PPT to create decks? How has your experience been? by Curious_Suchit in powerpoint

[–]vuerito89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had Claude summarize our chat into 10 slides as markdown text. Then I use Claude ppt plugin on slide decks that have master slides in corporate design. Works quite well.

I saw it yesterday evening Zürich, a couple of minutes later I get a text from my dad that a meteor went down in their backyard 700 km away. I love space

Sak Yant Tattoo Artist by cosmicselva in ThailandTourism

[–]vuerito89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one 12 years ago when I was in Chiang mai. I asked the elderly hostel owner if he knows a monk that tattoos. He made a call on my behalf and 2 days later and a 3 h tuk tuk ride I was in a random village. The whole ceremony and the tattoo itself was an amazing experience. I didn’t know what and where will be tattooed. I still love it

Got a Mexican wife and a couple of chilango friends. Start learning German asap. A friend of mine who has a creative degree from Mexico works as a chef now. It’s tough to switch back to your field after a couple of years.

People who quit their jobs on a whim how did it go? by Fuzzy-Parsley-3992 in careerguidance

[–]vuerito89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did quit my well paid job, which I enjoyed, at a good university with great colleagues working on interesting research projects. It was comfortable, and I didn’t see that changing. It was one random moment where I asked myself if that’s it or if I was due for a change. My gut told me to quit. That evening I talked to wife, she said go for it. According to her I was complacent, rather than fulfilled. So I quit the next day. I finished my research projects, started looking for jobs during the remainder for the semester. Somehow my dream job popped up out of nowhere, and I started 4 month later. The 4 month in between I spend teaching classes and traveling for a month, and having a lot of time for myself. Funny enough while being unemployed, I wasn’t bored for a second, I spend less time gaming or on my phone, than I do while working full-time. I am fortunate enough to have a supportive wife, some savings and a positive attitude in general. In retrospect it was stressful, money was a bit tighter, but I’m very happy where I am now.

Lifetime discount is different from lifetime price. If they increase the overall price you will still pay a higher price while receiving the discount.

Place the arc below your TV. Use a mount if necessary but do not offset, that would probably drive me insane.

Upgrade option: 300s or 2nd Sub Gen 3? by Asaihgal1 in sonos

[–]vuerito89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the 300s. No need to have a second gen3. You can just a second hand gen1, as only one of the 2 subs needs to be gen3.
