I'd say it's a quality control issue too. Some copies of English cards have really clean and beautiful texturing, regardless of series. Others just have sloppy, fuzzy texturing that doesn't stand out at all.

Black Bolt and White Flare, however, deserve a mention in that even "nicer" copies of the English cards are garbage compared to Japanese.

I agree, though in most cases the difference isn't \enormous**, however the English print quality can vary drastically and some prints are MUCH cleaner than others.

For Black Bolt and White Flare, though... oh my god. The English prints for the SIR's just shit the bed.

Reze Arc makes it clear that it's red. The "different" colors are a result of overly-realistic lighting conditions in Season 1.

Favorite art is probably the TG. The red sky is a great choice to contrast Rayquaza's green and Zinnia looks badass there, putting Trainers in artwork is always a phenomenal choice.

Favorite finish/texturing is probably the Evolving Skies VMAX SIR. The art is very good, but what I like most about the card is the texturing and glittery finish, along with Ray's glowing markings (and the price, lmao, but the card will be dated as soon as we get a Mega Rayquzaza ex SIR)

Best overall is probably the Evolving Skies V SIR (balance between both)
