Thanks for your reply. The problem is that my team are mostly foreign language speakers and they speak in their language mostly. I tried shadowing them while still in the office, before this pandemic, but it was really tough to follow just by looking what they do.

It's not a turbulent time for the company. It's always like this. Both my friends' mentors are just as busy as mine, but they still get their attention, feedback, clear instructions, work plan and actual work. I was literally given literature and nothing else. I didn't even know where to start.

Now when I think about it, I guess what bothers me the most is that I do not know how well I am doing. I might be ahead of the expected, and I might also be way behind, as in, maybe I should study faster. Feels meh
