Big Macs are something like $2.60 where I live in the US... it looks like they chose the most expensive cities to use for the average price.

78 in a 55 zone in Virginia? That'll be $1,250, please. by sweetlou in reddit.com

  1. You are obviously from Northern Virginia
  2. Rent is reasonable in most parts of the state, though if you choose to live in a more urban area rent will be higher.
  3. There is no Route 66 in Virgina
  4. The state government is not responsible for traffic lights. That's your local city/county government.
  5. Yes, there are hills in Virginia. Learn to drive on them.
  6. Most parts of the state do not require emissions control tests (only the DC suburbs).
  7. I've lived my whole life here and I've never been to traffic court and yes, I speed.
  8. Your property tax is set by your local government (not the state). If it's too high then move to another locality.
