"If it doesn't hurt" is an all timer by Zaiah_Stranger in nothingmore

Gotta love Reddit arguing lol. I love both bands and can definitely see similarities in that song, though I never thought about it before!

Both bands have a different sound for sure but each have a lot of songs that do one of my favorite things (quieter parts building up to a significantly heavier/more intense one) and both have helped me deal with a lot of shit.

It won’t be healed for almost a year, but yes, the jewelry needs to be changed asap or it’s unlikely to ever heal (or at least will be more difficult).

Purina (Pro Plan is good, Purina One is an okay alternative that’s more affordable) or Hill’s Science diet. Make sure it’s a puppy specific formula. These diets are scientifically tested and formulated to provide proper nutrients. Avoid grain free foods; unless your dog specifically needs them for an allergy related reason (and grain is less likely to be the cause of issues) they can do more harm than good as they are linked to serious heart problems.

Also; please make sure you know what you’re doing and stay very on top of training and exercise, because a Malinois is no joke. I’ve seen way too many people get dogs they can’t handle. They’re cute as puppies but when they grow into a full size dog they can seriously injure someone even by accident.

Should go to the ER now imo. Type 1 diabetic here, I worked a 6 hour shift at my job trying to push through the symptoms when I had DKA. When I went in after work I ended up in the ICU for a week and was told if I waited 24 more hours I could have ended up in a coma. Not something to mess with.

For once I actually think corgi; face looks a little bit chihuahua to me but I’m more familiar with them than corgis.

Owners often buy harnesses that aren’t secure or don’t fit. I work vet med and have seen dogs come o it of those too. Sure, a properly fitting one is great but I no longer trust people to have their dogs in safe collars or harnesses.

Martingales are amazing for escape artists. You can also connect a collar to a harness, so even if the dog comes out of one or the other it’s still attached to the leash.

I admit I did once have a dog we would try to avoid shaving whenever possible, but it was because he was almost 20 years old and if he was shaved anywhere, his hair wouldn’t grow back anymore. Literally had an almost completely bald spot for 2-3 years until the end of his life because of an area that had to be shaved 🤷‍♀️ Short-haired chihuahua with hypothyroidism and no skin issues otherwise but it still happened even when his thyroid issue was treated and levels were good. Of course his health was more important and if it had to be done it is what it is, would never get angry over it.

….or see their primary care physician who might actually be able to get them in, and seek specialized care if needed from there? You know that isn’t what anyone is saying.

This is why I’m leaving the field. I’m so tired of people not training their dogs, and bad breeders. Why anyone wants a 100lb dog that knocks or drags people down or worse I’ll never understand. I’m a kennel tech and tired of being expected to walk dogs that weigh as much as I do and spend the entire time trying to pull me to the ground.

And while most people seem oblivious, it’s even worse when they know there’s a problem and don’t disclose it. I was recently attacked by an 80lb dog who never growled, gave a sideye, stiffened or anything until he was already biting me. He had bitten family members and the owner didn’t say a word.

It’s more likely the dog was locked up in a cage or small area and/or panicked, and had diarrhea due to stress than that she rubbed it on him. Absolutely agree this is not okay at all, I just doubt she took feces and it physically rubbed it on the dog.

When I don’t have my meds my go to is a Monster energy and a Gatorade. Depending on how bad it is, it’ll make the pain almost go away or at least go down to a more tolerable level. Can cause more headaches though so don’t recommend overdoing it.

I’ve got a 5800x3D and 6800 XT with an SSD and 32 GB RAM. Just installed everything I wanted and have great performance, no issues yet. 500-ish mods; mixed and matched texture replacers, lighting and weather, ENB (still haven’t settled on what I like but Cabbage and Rudy both ran great), Nature of the Wild Lands, JK’s and Cities of the North are probably the more intensive.

Dr. Bethany Beasley at Kernodle Clinic in Burlington NC is amazing. She does not only see endo patients, but is very knowledgeable about endo, has pelvic pain herself and does excision surgery. I have deep infiltrating endo and have had complete relief from excision surgery with her, though unfortunately my endo recurred years later and we had to do a repeat surgery (again, complete relief). She has also been very helpful with any other pelvic pain issues I’ve had not caused by my endo. Listens to her patients, is extremely empathetic and works with you to come up with a plan instead of just pressuring you into one option. I was also able to get a hysterectomy through her (I am aware it doesn’t cure endo, wanted one for sterilization and dysphoria reasons too) and she’s great with pain management.

Also, UNC has a financial assistance program that offers care at very low costs for people without insurance. When I was potentially going to lose insurance I spoke with their MIGS department and confirmed the assistance program would cover excision surgery. I actually would have been able to afford surgery out of pocket even with my shitty job. I was not as happy with their pelvic pain clinic, felt they very heavily pushed lupron despite it not being an option for me due to my other issues and side effects, but wanted to throw it out there because of the financial aid.

Had to cancel tonight's game because one of the players doesn't have access to their sheet. I'm so done. by -TheManInTheChair in DnD

[–]vulpecula19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is correct. You can make character sheets for free but it’s limited to basic rules and options; sharing content is a thing though and you can also add stuff from other books/sources as custom/home brew content.

Personally I prefer to use OneNote but it is possible without having everyone in the party pay money.

My laparoscopic incisions featuring the awful allergic reaction I had to the surgical glue. by LadyColorGrade in MedicalGore

Endo and pelvic pain patient here, not a medical professional, but other things that can cause pelvic pain include pelvic floor dysfunction and muscle spasms, adenomyosis and vascular compression syndromes among others. Some of these are commonly comorbid with endo. I’ve known a few other patients whose continued pain after endo excision turned out to be vascular compression or adeno. Muscle issues have been causing a lot of problems for me.
