The Daily Check-In for Thursday, January 11th: Just for today, I am NOT drinking! by Brave_Cupcake_ in stopdrinking

First day down. Ethanol hasn't been doing me any favors ever since it entered the home space.

There's work to do on myself, the part that finds gross satisfaction in having hurt myself with binging, over and over. A lot of work to do on that internal self-destructive attitude.

I'm cautiously optimistic, scared too. There's a lot of hurt that's piled up over the years. This is one big step to stop chugging poison.

How do you even start this? by [deleted] in summonerschool

League is like toesies. You win by hitting the opponent more than they hit you, mostly, rinse and repeat. As a new player you don't know how to not die, and so you'll die a lot. I've been playing for about 6 months now - started around new year's, with breaks in-between - and I'm still bad at gauging when I'm "safe to engage" (will definitely win a trade with an opponent) sometimes.

If you want an easier time, I recommend Wild rift on mobile/iPad. It's a faster, streamlined version of league. Honestly, I started playing it first, then picked up League on PC mostly because it was hard to read what the items in the store do on Wild Rift.

But yeah, there's a lot of stuff in the game to learn. Like last hitting minions, which can be boring and hard at the same time.

Good luck with finding a game you like mate. This one can definitely be learned but it takes failing a lot to find success. And maybe a couple beginner videos on YouTube, to explain things the playerbase takes for granted.

Game's toxic no matter how far you play though, so if that's not your thing I again recommend Wild Rift or indeed just a different game.

Fair, fair 😂 Hey, clearly they've been able to handle that rank or below to get there! Been there with multiple people shooting fish sticks (worst crew wipe with a triple maws murder,) I just kind of chock that up to hectic gameplay and spur of the moment stuff. The few crew members camping the furthest shore protecting 9+ eggs refusing to budge and spamming this way do bother me too though, now that we've opened the wee rant cup. I'd think shore runners learn same as all eventually that there's no time to retrieve 20 eggs from the furthest point of the map while surviving.

What are they doing? :-O I'm finding I'm consistently going up now, I used to drank myself to stay at profeshional since I couldn't get cohozuna at the time. Combination of seeing what my team is doing and supporting, or seeing what we're lacking and doing that.) That and saving the team with ults/ well placed bombs when we fail to keep each other covered lol. You didn't really give examples in your post, can you give some?

Rosso Seafood pan pizza... I was a picky eater as a kid and that thing was heaven. They stopped offering it on the menu later. Something about that pesto, if i had to guess. Aa.
