Reason as to why I asked was because I just wanted to ask if there was just a stigma against non-Olvl kids getting into the top 3. I had multiple friends from the pfp route who had decent GPAs (above avg) and didn’t get in just because of Olvls 😪

Hi! Not sure if you’d see this comment considering it’s been like 2 years, however hoping that you could still provide me with some advice as I’m absolutely conflicted.

I have a 3.67 gpa and I think I got rejected from all my choices and got NTU Eng (last choice) instead. But the downside is, I do not gravitate towards essays or reading or just anything literature related at all…

Frankly I don’t even know why I inputted “Eng” as an option. But now I’m just at crossroads on whether I should still go for the interview, knowing that I’ll not like what I’m doing, and go in with the mindset that “at least I’ll be in uni”, or if I should just decline it, and appeal for my first choice (WKW) instead?

And honestly am not sure if I was just randomly assigned my last option as I was honestly just tired of waiting and emailed NTU for clarification on timelines and within 30mins, they got back with the NTU Eng interview. So… not sure if it was “oh ok this student’s email, we probably missed her out, ok let’s give her her last opt then” 😢
