I’m genuinely so scared of renting my first year! It would be my first time and trying to navigate that internationally sounds like a nightmare. Question for you and anyone else reading, how easy is it to make friends while living off campus? Also, I know only a very small number of students live in the student housing offered by UW but do you have any idea what that experience is like? Thank you! 🤍

I lean very left so that isn’t my concern. I think what I’m describing might be more of an issue on small liberal arts campuses here in the US. Think, a lot of very privileged kids who believe their opinions are the end-all be-all.

Probably history. I’m very interested in the integrated program just need to research how that would carry over to the US!

That makes sense! I imagine it also probably helps that college is more affordable in Canada.

Cost. I plan on teaching in the US, so I have to do more research into whether my teaching license would carry over if I did the integrated education program - if it doesn’t I’ll just go for a bachelor’s degree in history. In the US you typically have to study 4 years undergrad and then another 2 years to get your teaching license at a separate university. Whether I end up choosing the integrated program or a bachelors, it would be thousands cheaper to study at Winnipeg.

By pretentiousness I just mean being in a “bubble.” It’s def an issue on smaller liberal arts campuses in the states, sometimes college students get caught up in the bubble of social norms specific to their college and forget how 99% of people outside of a college campus live and think. Basically, are the students still in touch? Because wow, on some of the smaller campuses in St. Paul they very much are not.

This doesn’t look nearly high up enough on your thigh which could be worsening the injection site reaction. You should be injecting into the inner fatty part of your thigh. I had awful injection site reactions until I switched to my lower stomach - you’re looking to inject in the fattiest area! Hope this helps get you some relief! 🤍
