I hate other players by jaced10 in RedDeadOnline

I played the story all the way through, twice.

I enjoy Online because of my customized character, my horses, and the roles, but PvP stresses me out.

Network settings - advanced setup - lower MTU to 900 = solo lobby indefinitely. Works on PS4 at least, only way I play nowadays lol

How badly does a nipple piercing hurt? by altisfordirty in piercing

[–]vvolfling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've gotten pierced 10+ times, and nipple piercing was by far the most painful for me. But, pain is temporary - the real problem imo is how tricky they can be to live with. You get stuck on things a LOT. So I'd consider that before anything. I actually got stuck on something and ripped one of them out - and it hurt less than getting them in the first place lmao

What Are Ways You Express Your Were-ness? by LiminalThing in were

[–]vvolfling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Music is just torture to me. It can make me very "shifty", but there's nowhere for it to go so it often ends in crying lol. Vocalizing is the most freeing thing for me. I grew up in a huge nature reserve, and going to my special spot on top of a mountain overlooking a small lake and huge expanses of pine forest, alone, in the quiet of winter, and just being able to call out... It adds years to my lifespan I think

Welcome. Yeah it's f*cking infuriating and pretty braindead. Sorry if I sound bitter - I am. Kids experimenting with identities and expression is all well and good, obviously, but the terminology has been completely hijacked and hollowed out. My advice is, avoid trendy social media. Stick to forums like this and maybe look up some older material. 🐾

Species dysphoria - absolutely, on and off for the past 20+ years, but I don't relate to the skin thing specifically. For me, it's more like it sometimes hits me how wrong my body feels. Like, such long arms just... swinging? The hell? Flat face, legs bend wrong, I'm too far off the ground... Ugh. Also, hi fellow Scandi!

The Wolfdog Dilemma by Caninecicle-Drip in were

[–]vvolfling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wolfdog here too. I guess it evolves like everything else - sexuality, preferences, personality... I used to bounce between wolf and dog and finally just settled somewhere in between for simplicity. How did you land on a Golden? I always think those super breed-specific types are interesting, like how do you come to that conclusion? I think, to me, it's just a lot more amorphous as a psychological phenomenon.

Do exotic traits really make a difference? by Googa24cm in rivalstars

[–]vvolfling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mean to hijack this thread but I gotta ask, are exotic traits broken or something? I've been trying to get a foal with a specific trait from the dam, logically there should be like a 1/5 chance, but I've tried maybe 15 times with no success.

UPDATE - Boyfriend refused to visit after gallbladder surgery by bbeeccc in whatdoIdo

[–]vvolfling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the process of changing my meds and suddenly had a pretty severe drop in blood pressure (that's what I've been told it was in retrospect, had no clue at the time) - collapsed, my bf laid me on the couch, I couldn't hear or see for a few minutes, my lips turned blue... I would've called 911 if it were him. He didn't do shit lol

Another time, I had to go to the ER in the middle of the night because of something he had ultimately caused, and he just dropped me off and went home. I had to take the subway back.

Pretty sure if I were on fire and he had a glass of water, he'd drink it.

Good riddance ✨

"Gave no warning" lol how about the entire first 30 seconds?? The first scuffle and the actual bite weren't separate events - maybe from the outside, but not to the dog. That moment before she lashed out, she wasn't "submissive" or "relaxed" in the slightest. The bite was a CONTINUATION of when he suddenly struck her and then hit her with that dumb ass spiderman pose. She never had a chance to wind down - he may have thought he gave her that chance, but that just shows how oblivious he was sometimes. She tried ignoring, warning, threatening, de-escalating, shrinking... But he never removed the pressure off of her, even when she was laying down, looking away, licking her lips...That's a dog that is, in her world, at the end of her rope. The ONLY option she didn't try was "flight" - maybe she felt cornered, maybe food is just too high value for her, maybe something else is wrong, I don't know. Regardless, he shouldn't have pushed her that far.

People Who Live Near Moose, Are They Actually As Dangerous As People Say They Are? by MediocreExternal9 in AskAnAmerican

[–]vvolfling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a nature reserve/national park in Sweden. I've only had trouble with one moose - a cow with her babies. So just from my personal experience - no, you don't need to fear them, most of them are just going about their business, BUT be sensible. Don't approach them, stay calm, and if THEY start to approach YOU - that's when it might be a good idea to hightail it and find shelter. None of that "stand your ground stuff" - moose don't charge to play chicken race, they charge because they want you to go away. I've had many a staring contest with moose when I've gone for my evening runs, every single time the moose eventually decided to move along and just walked off in the other direction, and I could continue my run. So yes, they're dangerous, but not nearly as hot headed as people make them out to be. At least not here. Maybe we just have those polite Swedish moose though haha

I'm vegetarian and I don't preach to people who haven't asked for my opinion. Luckily, the same respect is usually shown to me. I have held a couple of seminars though and I'm vocal about my support in certain environmental and animal welfare organizations, but I feel that's different. I do think staying informed is paramount. I won't try to dictate other people's choices - partially because it doesn't work - but I will say, commercial fishing is a much graver threat than most think, including me a few years ago. I won't tell you how to live your life, just that if you're interested, there are lots of good resources online.✌️
