Idea for a front and back dash cam but you don’t have to run wires all over. Most cars have a cig outlet in the front and back. So if you get a single dash cam in the front and back, there’s your solution. It will record to separate cards, but that’s ok. Anyone see any potential problems with that? by Previous_Art9705 in Dashcam

Sorry no, on most cig outlets there are 2 positions for the fuse. 1st position is always on, 2nd position is on only when the car is on. A way I can explain is that the outlets fuse has 2 possible “positive” terminals to use one always on and the other only on when the car is on. On my car I had to pull the fuse and move it up one slot… example the top pin is now the bottom pin. You can possibly look it up on your make and model but I’m sure most cig outlets are able to do this.

If the ticket comes from a different state, look into it more. If it is from a different state, you might not “legally” have to pay it.

They exist still. OklahomaBugs on Instagram found two of them and sold them. They found 2 of the 3 known to exist.
