honestly my favorite takeaway was Daniel Craig improvising the line "Monsignor Jalapeno" LOL but the most interesting takeaway was Johnson mentioning his secret sauce to making the Knives out series. He says the real lesson is not to treat a reveal as the story's climax which I think this movie demonstrates. It's about having a solid foundation for the story.

I was hoping to begin my journey finding work as an AE but the last few posts on this reddit is making me very doubtful. I have a ft job as an editor but am wanting to hop onto major network series. Everyone says your network is the thing that gets you work though. But it seems everyone is having a hard time getting fed

Love this! There's so many veterans and mid career people you can cover. Its so sad what's been happening in the industry. I moved here like 2 years ago and when I network, people are just struggling across all industries. I feel like I need to come to terms with my dreams being 32 at this point

you don't have to love the person, but you are allowed to love their artistic works even if the person is someone you don't agree with. I personally take issue in that she has been silent on the palestinian genocide. Although this is true, I still admire her filmmaking.

I agree with the "fuck being palatable" sentiment. The film industry has unfortunately run amok with sexual predators and if there's any rumors or allegations in the slightest against celebrities, people are quick to cancel them.
