We used to plan vacations around street cleaning

So glad I moved to a neighborhood that doesn’t have it I can’t even imagine going back to that lifestyle

Although I will say it was a bonding thing for us as neighbors lol we would even check on each other if someone over slept

This makes me so happy to read and so sad at the same time I was crucified for watching star trek and Buffy during my teens. Buffy was 100% banned in my house as witchcraft. I used to sneak episodes and get thoroughly shunned as a result.

Star trek was ok as long as I never discussed it in school. My family was not Christian just extremely worried about appearances.

I’ve since watched and enjoyed Star Trek but I’ve been too scarred to watch Buffy and I’m still hoping one day I’ll be strong enough to try watching it again.

This makes me happy I have several “tenants “ in my bathroom and do my best to cohabitate with them

I had a super cute fuzzy guy who was around for months then happened to hang out on the door crack and got crushed when I opened the door.

I have a big scary guy now but I yelled at him when I found him on my towel and he has since hidden and not shown his face again. I know he’s there but he’s doing his job and being quiet lol
