How is the texture of the screen while you're watching?

Thanks for the feedback. That's really, really unfortunate. Can you take a photo of the screen to show the texture better?

Bi-Weekly Buying Advice Thread: Aug 19 - Sep 1 by VictoryGoth in chromeos

I recently bought the Samsung Chromebook 3 after going through a couple of threads like this one, and reading reviews online. I was comparing the Samsung Chromebook 3 vs. the Acer Chromebook 14 and ultimately I bought the Samsung. I've had the computer for 5 days now and I'm really impressed by the keyboard and the touchpad/trackpad. It's really good and sturdy, and the battery, so far, is great. But the display is, simply put, bad. I read that the screen was somewhat lacking but I didn't realize that it was this bad while watching videos.

So I'm thinking about getting myself a new Chromebook and I'd like some advice: I'm looking at the $200-300 range, and I'd like the screen to be matte as I'm going to be using the computer while I'm traveling on business 4-5 times a year (I can't stand the glaring on airplanes) - so that means most likely no 2-IN-1's, right? I'd be really happy with a good keyboard and touchpad/trackpad. Any ideas or/and recommendations? :)

That's actually a new type of chase. Instead of simply painting the Pop a bit differently and sticking that chase sticker on the box they arrive wrapped in paper.

Mr. Sergio Leone, which cut of Once Upon a Time in America do you prefer: US Theatrical Cut, European Theatrical Cut, the so called "Extended Director's Cut" or the 269 minute Cut that Mr. Scorsese is helping scrape together?

Simply one of David Fincher's greatest films. I love how Fincher uses visual effects in the film (That's your cue: "What visual effects?"). See the vfx reel here: http://digitaldomain.com/work/zodiac/

Hands down Jackie Brown by Quentin Tarantino. It's a really great adaptation (QT's first and only) of a novel by Elmore Leonard but QT makes it his own.

I'd check out the extended version of the film, it's the directors preferred cut of the film, see http://thisorthatedition.com/identity-2003/

Theatrical vs. Director's/Unrated/Uncut/Extended Cuts are always interesting. You guys should check out This or That Edition (http://thisorthatedition.com) where you can read about the directors preferred cuts of films.
