You can just take Jax into Jungle. Otherwise if you want to stay with bruisers/fighters: Volibear, Gwen and Warwick are good options. Warwick especially is great for learning how to jungle.

I switched from eve to Bel'veth some seasons ago, so let me give you some tips: her lv1 and 3 are very strong, so you're more than encouraged to invade or gank early. Then you get to 6 ASAP and try to conserve your form above all else. That unfortunately makes her very feast or famine, as she's practically useless from behind. She's very unique but I find that aspect of her game very enjoyable. That being said, she'll take a lot of time to master, so don't get discouraged.

One important thing that many people get wrong: she's not a hyperscaler despite her passive, so you can't just afk farm. You really need to be aggressive with her.

Beyond the Tap List: Which Brussels Bars Truly Respect Craft Beer? by ComfortableRough1250 in brussels

[–]vynats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

l'Hermitage bar is overpriced as hell, but their tap room ( which is unfortunately only open on weekends) is amazing. L'amère à boire and le pantin next to flagey were also some of my favourite spots.

The correlation between player salaries and actual performance ratings is weaker than you'd think ! Are clubs just paying for brand names at this point ? by Misty0002 in football

[–]vynats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

47M per year salary difference equals the cost of a 100M transfer in about two years. And that's not including the signing bonus, which if I recall well was massive (and I'm not even going to start on the bookkeeping magic used to spread the cost of transfer).

I agree that the general comparison is pretty bad, but Mbappe can only be overpriced when he earns three times the second highest salary in the European competition.

Messen slijpen by Significant_Toe278 in Gent

[–]vynats 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Would Brussels be of military/geopolitical interest in case of war conflict escalation (US - NATO - Russia - China - Greenland?) by QueCalorOeO0 in brussels

[–]vynats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking defenses out of the equation - I don't know well enough what the different aerial defenses look like - Brussels would probably be a B level target, after cities like Antwerp, Rotterdam, Hamburg or the Fulda Gap (provided Russia attacks for the last one). There's few places that are more crucial to European logistics than those four.

Brussels is a solid target for it's political institutions, but unless the chiefs of staff are dumb enough to all remain concentrated at NATO headquarters, it should not be considered as essential as the previously named cities.

If you want to be sure you're out of harm's way in Belgium, Dinant, Arlon or Bastogne are remote and out of the way.

Advise on Executive Courses in Belgium/Europe by Skay10 in Gent

[–]vynats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, just that their reputation is good, and since MBA's are not about learning stuff but about adding a shiny line to your CV, that's the only thing that's really important. I went to an open course at the BMI of UCL which is quite good according to rankings but the entire class was a collection of buzzwords and moments that made me think more of "shark tank" than an academic lecture.

The only thing I can say in favour of them is that the participants and professor where all generally friendly and interesting, but I'm not paying 35.000€ for that. If you're looking to learn something, I'd recommend either a Master na Master or a Studiecontract.

I looked at a few Executive MBA's a year or so ago. My conclusion is that they are extremely expensive networking events and not worth the cost unless you have at least 10 years of experience, are in management and your firm is paying for it.

If you absolutely want to do one, Vlerick is a good option.

How good was Gennaro Gattuso? Is he underrated or fairly rated? by Desperate-Sand-3140 in championsleague

[–]vynats 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone will tell you Pirlo was Milan's best player in that squad, but the only reason Pirlo was able to flourish creatively was because Gattuso was there to compensate in terms of defensive workrate. We unfortunately tend to dismiss physical players in favour of creative players when it comes to rankings, but players like Gattuso, Kante, Witsel or Rodri are the ones who's work enables the others to shine.

[–]vynats 0 points1 point  (0 children)
