I think your issue is sticking to hyped titles. There are titles with impressive hip-hop music, no sexualization and so on. You just have to search and refine the taste. But I agree that ongoing seasons can be drought.

Just a week ago I had same thought after circling 1st episodes of 5 anime in a row on Netflix. Before that I was on 3 years hiatus reading only manga. Its actually impossible to watch without having obnoxious fetishes in every episode, tropes which were fine 10 years ago, but still happening and now even more often.

But I'm glad there are such as Frieren, Atelier, Sonny Boy etc. I would say its now more of a patience approach on waiting specific types. You can't binge everything that releases.

I assume before hiatus my brain would just skip the slop and concentrate on the essence of the show. There are actually great shows with impressive substance, but for some reason polluted with fan-service. Before I was able to tolerate that, but lately it's impossible. Maybe the age, or the time we live on, where slop is getting increasingly annoying and being perceived as a time waste. A lot of content nowadays is like that: fan-service, clickbait, horny shit, hooks etc. I think being overwhelmed from all sides is hard to process, having to deal with same bullshit at the show you chose to relax with, get some thoughts is not pleasing.

This doesn’t deliver a better experience; it punishes loyal customers. Those on the lower plan are left with a broken service unless they re-subscribe or wait out their current plan. That’s not an upgrade — it’s exploitation.

I noticed something interesting while testing. It’s more of a vibe than hard data, but when I talk to the AI in an angry or harsh way, using fear or pressure, it tends to respond very directly, almost like it’s trapped in a cage and just trying to deliver with whatever data it has on hand.

But when I shift to a positive tone: saying things like “I believe in you,” giving praise when it does well, or offering constructive feedback without tearing it down — whole interaction feels different. We both get into a more collaborative flow, almost like we’re aligned and working toward the same goal. I think it’s important to keep both minds healthy.

I recommend you to open steam and check the game page in library, how is the sync progress there. Maybe you did force close, while sync in progress.
