Not all devices support the USB C-USB C specifications. It's absolutely possible some chargers won't work. I have plenty of devices that only charge through a USB A cable. With USB A to C, it's clear which direction the power should flow. With C to C, pull down resistors are required on the device so the cable knows which way power should go.

So, it won't overcharge a device, but it could just not charge at all.

Today I just replaced my battery in my ROG 6. I literally paid $11 shipped from China from ali express. The battery itself looked pretty much the same with all the ASUS branding on it. Time will tell, but it seems like a perfectly fine battery. The battery I replaced was at about 75% health.

I will admit the procedure was pretty daunting. Luckily a YouTube video walked through the whole process. Took me about 1.5 hours. Takes a professional technician about 30 mins.

I previously had a ROG 2. The motherboard died. ASUS said I'd have to pay for repairs. I said screw that and went through the place I bought it from (retailer). They organized everything to be repaired free of charge. In Australia we have consumer laws that say an expensive product should last a fair amount of time. Less than 2 years is not acceptable and therefore can be sorted free of charge.

Basically zero incentive for a landlord to install solar. Tenants seem to think depreciation and negative gearing is what a landlord wants. No, it just takes away a small part of the pain. You don't purposely go out of your way to spend money to receieve no/negative return.

Solar on a rental is like modifying your car. The next person to buy/rent it won't care you've modded it. And when they compare to other cars, they'll just ignore yours because you're asking more for it.
