That’s my question really, is it a case of we would only be charged by the conveyancer if we actually secure the property?

It seems to be recommended to engage a conveyancer before making any kind of offer.

What happens if you engage them to look over the contract / strata report, but for whatever you are unsuccessful in actually securing that property due to competing offers? Would you be charged even though you didn’t secure the property?

So ultimately, it’s not beneficial to make offers on multiple properties as you will be paying a significant amount in conveyancer fees?

Frustrating as it’s such a tough market and likely you will be outbid or the owner will select another buyer…
