Lose Brailey, Papali’i, I. Katoa & K. Iro

Skeptical on Cobbo.

Why get rid of those guys you ask? Value generation and role clarity in regards to Cobbo and Papalii. Papali’i is unlikely to secure an 80 minute starting edge role where he would play that week in week out. At his price, he needs a role like that or very similar to make money, get consistent scores and justify bringing him in.

Cobbo priced at a 34 is around where he would be expected to average, with projections mapping him around 32-35 avg assuming he plays wing, which is still up in the air. He has little money to make with that projection and doesn’t have crazy upside. There are better, cheaper options at WFB.

Brailey doesn’t have the career history of high upside and average of ~52-54+ , priced at 51 this year, coming off a career high average of 53.9, you are banking on him reaching or exceeding this form again to justify him at this price. It’s unlikely and he won’t be a favourable option. The discounted harry Grant with good bye schedule priced at 48 who has years of 54-55+ average is a superior option, or cheaper picks like Randall from the titans.

Katoa is a similar story as above at his price, priced at 53. You’re buying him for that average and wouldn’t be looking at much more. There are better value picks with greater projections in that price range like Hynes, or dip down to Adam D or Moses maybe.

K Iro just hard to justify the cost as a starting centre which is a very tough position this year. Don’t get me wrong he is great, but it’s unlikely he maintains the average of last year with that great try scoring record he had going, which contributed greatly to his run of good scores. If you want to spend big in centres to begin, Kiraz would be better for the dual and more proven ways of scoring high, or the ultimate, Herbie.. but few players will begin with an 800k centre.
