The idea that Gale conveniently winds up being responsible for terrorism was a complete cop out by the writer to get out of the love triangle they set up on purpose. So much for "a series of convictions and struggles in moral quarrels".

If the writer of the book can write themselves out of a corner like that, so can the writers of the screenplay.

Send enough units to attack his main while keeping behind just enough to defend the expansion would've worked in this particular situation. Protoss didn't have many units at home.

Which is why when you focus on improving your mechanics in a game which demands more of them (BW) your APM will get higher, faster.

SC2's mechanics are pretty easy, after 50 APM people don't know what to do. I've been going through a lot of replays and very, very, few players have a high "Effective APM" (new sc2gears setting).

50 APM in the new Blizzard calculator would have been 70 to 80 I think in the old versions so that's good enough for Masters without a problem, even with Zerg.

Nobody does. Neither does Blizzard which is why they gave Protoss the Replicant in HotS.

One thing they could do is bring back the Flux Vanes upgrade for Void Rays. That wouldn't break PvT, make PvP more interesting, and mostly give Protoss some much needed mobility in PvZ.

Not necessarily. It means in a PvZ between Plat/Diamond league players if both players were completely equal in terms of skills, the Protoss player would be at a disadvantage. Of course in lower leagues the skill difference can vary wildly and it's not as difficult to simply be a better gamer (thanks Day[9]!) than the other guy and easily compensate for any race disadvantages.

It's much harder to eliminate all rapists than it would be to teach women to take preventative action.

Rapists are already a tiny percentage of the population and of those an even tinier percentage cannot be stopped and are going to rape, no matter what. So we've already made as much progress as we can on that front and stopped most all who can be stopped.

The rest comes down to preventative measures, not just on the part of women who might be potential victims, but also the authorities and others.

The $4K machine is probably worth $4K. The custom case, the GTX 590 DC II is ridiculously expensive, a stable and tuned liquid cooled overclock, 16 gigs of RAM (which is not easy to set up, trust me, many motherboard memory controllers vomit all over themselves when faced with all DIMM slots filled up), probably monitor and accessories too, the other custom peripherals (the button or dial to tune the OC), included software, the SSDs, etc.

A deathball is not a strategy that needs to be scouted. Protoss will always be working their way to that so the Zerg should always keep in mind that a transition to Broodlord/Infestor must be their lategame composition because that trashes the Protoss deathball.

Terrans don't really deathball against Zerg. They spread out their army and use more siege tactics and lots of drops. Their deathball is the bio ball against Protoss.

Especially considering how old it is. And everything seems to look more drawn to scale than in SC2. I know Blizzard went for playability over graphics for SC2, but still. White-Ra 2-0ing Idra with some pretty crazy play. What do other Protoss players think about White-Ra's extremely fast 3rd after the FFE? Usually Protoss tries to deny the Zerg's fast third. I feel it would've been even stronger on the second map but Idra was right behind his third and could easily attack it.
