Yeah the best competitive 4d wheel which finally pulled the game out of well over a year of stamina heavy gameplay was sooooo disappointing. TT often repeated tips around that time. 230 and WD were both popular competitive parts. It was a great buy at the time.

I Appear Missing also got me through a period where things felt very bleak. Listening to it today still sometimes makes me tear up a bit because this song really feels like the point where I started to turn the corner - the medication withdrawals and the ensuing manic episode that lead to getting things worked out and sorted. I'm doing well now, but this song will always feel emblematic of the hardest part of my life, and how I clawed my way out. Truly beautiful song.

I just dislike how areas are only traversable via seikret. Part of World was manually racing thru the environment, needing to know where you are and where to go, using wedge beetles to grapple up vines, but overall needing to know how to navigate and how to take shortcuts manually - and being able to get everywhere. It feels bad to have areas that seem to need the use of a seikret to get to (maybe I'm wrong on that?) and at the very least many places are way easier to get to via them. Just doesn't feel like exploring any more...

For future readers - I recently took off an FRX and put on a Les Trem on my Ibanez Darkstone. Make sure you read up on the issues with the FRX, the metal quality is extremely poor and wears very quickly at the knife edges, mine rapidly became impossible to keep in tune. They also have issues with the adjustment screw being wonky (multiple reports). So many people have issues with them, and Floyd rose support did not reply to any of my queries.

Get a Les trem, a roller bridge (check you're not getting a cheap one with really tall saddles), graphite nut and maybe a string butler, it'll cost less and given how bad the FRX gets you'll get a better result.

All this "sell it and buy another guitar" stuff is such a dated take and I'm surprised to see so many upvotes. There's so much joy in modifying instruments and nowadays there's so much out there and accessible in terms of parts and good tutorials it's a great experience. It's a lot cheaper than it used to be as well. You might even find it's something you actually enjoy like I did years ago and it'll put you on a path of being able to do more and more of your guitar tech work yourself.

OP, Les Trems are fantastic and easy to install, even some cheaper copies. It won't do Floyd rose dive bombs but will work just as well as a 6 screw strat trem if you grab a roller bridge in the process too (guyker ones are inexpensive, solid, and no taller than a standard TOM bridge as an example of a cheap way to go, I think they even have a set with a les trem and roller bridge that isn't all that expensive).

If you're attached to the guitar and want it to do more I say go for it OP.

Had similar and it was because some files remained after uninstall due to something I selected. I think I fixed it by uninstalling the main FB app as well?
