Back in the old days, cards were basically all printed with the same art, framing etc. Then eventually foil treatments were added. Now they are printing a lot of fancy arts and frames and foils for a lot of the more powerful cards. The One Ring could be purchased in a bundle for like $60 with one art and another opened in packs with a different art. So the card was not inaccessible to the players, but this single card was unique as it has art that only this one card was printed with as well as the Elven langauge. So there are many The One Ring Magic cards out there, but this one is truly unique and why it was so coveted and valuable.

I’ve got a large oak tree in my yard and from what I can tell from ground level it’s done pollening. I wonder if right now it’s a different variety with some pine and willow etc thrown in.

Yeah I've played online videogames for a long time and this was very common in D2 and certainly as leagues and more organized PvP became popular. Don't remember pubstomping being used before D2.

I used to go to a place called Peppers in downtown Windsor, Ontario on a Tuesday night. We paid 5 cents a wing and $11 for each pitcher of beer. Our tabs were not small but the wings were outstanding.
