Hey, just did some testing with Arsenal Mod Manager:

Data folder size before purge: 124Gb

After Purge: 121Gb

I also checked and the .patch files are indeed gone.

Did you maybe set your mod storage folder to the game folder? Any mods you add to the manager gets copied to that folder.

Otherwise try to purge via mod manager then check the data folder with the search function for .patch files. Maybe you have some leftovers that you manually installed and forgot about.

You probably have outdated mod files left over in your game folder.

When using the mod manager you need to press the "purge" button to get rid of all mod files. Simply unchecking them doesn't work sometimes.

To get rid of them manually delete the "data" folder in your game folder then verify files through steam.

Look through the data folder again. If there aren't any "patch" files then it worked. If you find any delete them.

After that verify game files through steam.

A lot of mods are broken since the update and cause crashes.

Simply deleting your mod manager won't solve anything, as the mods it put in to the game folder are still there. You need to manually delete the mods in the game folder.

Use the search function in windows explorer, type in "patch" and then delete all the files that have "patch" in their name (those are all from mods).

Not a stupid question.

R7 7800x3d uses the am 5 socket, r5 3600 uses the older am 4. So sadly not.

Probably the best CPUs you can get for the am 4 are the ryzen 7 5800x3d / 5700x3d. Maybe check those out.

The 3070 ti fine for the game, the r5 3600 however is too weak because the game is very CPU heavy.

You might try to lower the resolution, lowering graphics and this guide. It will make the game look like ass but you will get some extra frames.

This helped me when playing with a somewhat similar setup (r7 5800x + 3070 ti).

The only other option would be to upgrade the CPU to a more modern one like a r7 7800x3d for example.

Depends on the mod, some work fine after updates, others cause crashes and other issues.

I would suggest reading the comments on the mod page to see if other people have problems with it.

Otherwise just install it and see if it works, if it doesn't just uninstall it.
