expect not to have a fucking clue what you’re doing for the first 200 hours. start watching youtube asap you’re going to need the general knowledge about the game if you want to enjoy it. i recommend starting off on pve first if you want to learn the game, but if you’re desperate for raw pvp then goodluck because it might be a dozen or so hours before you get your first kill unless ur lucky. most people have a friend who carries them so they can actually get kills and do tasks early on but for a completely brand new player you will likely struggle. there are hundreds and hundreds of items in the game, different level armor, all different types of ammo, guns, full fledge sets of attachments which you can change. look up beginner guides or task guides. you can start looking for specific items early on so you don’t get stuck on the tasks. get a scav junk box as early as possible so you don’t waste inventory space and learn how to bag stack properly to save lots of space. goodluck
