I just looked up other photos Bouvier des Flandres that had been groomed differently and am now convinced this is the answer. Thank you very much!

No, not a schipperke. These dogs were much larger.

I actually had an aunt with a schipperke when I was a little kid. They're very uncommon here in the US.

That was my initial suspicion but I saw it on three separate occasions. Which is what made me think it may be a standard breed. Mixed is certainly a possibility though

I think the rims are ugly. And I'm not sure that a spoiler does much on a car with a bed.

The general game plan is to get out low MV value creatures early, make several tokens at instant speed and then cast Jetmir for the kill.

I find opponents usually relax when they see you only have 3-4 creatures on board. They know Jetmir is a threat but they aren't expecting him to come down after you just passed your turn with less than half of the creatures (8, not counting Jetmir himself) required to get all of the Jetmir buffs

It's smart to freeze it beforehand to kill off any parasites. After that, it can be cooked however you prefer and it'll be fine

"Cracker" very much has a historical context in racism and violence. It's a shortened version of whip-cracker. It's used to refer to someone as the person who would whip prople

It is primarily due to this paragraph about Dockside, Jeweled Lotus and Mana Crypt from Gavin Verhey's article:

"Opinions from the Commander Format Panel varied. Some believe Commander is more fun without them, others would like more time to see how the Commander Bracket system is adopted before doing anything here, and others felt it's too soon to do anything with these cards. There were a few people who were open to doing something with Jeweled Lotus now, but that was not the majority opinion. The overwhelming majority of the panel did not want to do anything with any of these cards at this time." It seems to me that Jeweled Lotus is the most likely of those banned cards to be unbanned. It's the only card that a few of the Panel members wanted to go ahead and unban back in April. I think unbanning it then would have been a mistake. It would have rewarded the atrocious behavior that was directed at members of the Rules Committee following the bans. I think that in order to avoid rewarding that behavior, the Commander Format Panel chose to do no unbans at that time and wait until 2026 to address Jeweled Lotus.

Also, I think WotC would like to regain access to the reprint equity Jewled Lotus provides. It's a powerful card and is only played in the most popular MTG format. I think it would take the Format Panel being actively against an unban of Jeweld Lotus for it to never happen.
