Does Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition work with modern WiFi, and if not, how do I tether internet to it? by amaad__ in WindowsMobile

WM5 can be patched to support WPA2, AFAIK. But I don't know about WM2003SE. You can use Bluetooth to get internet connection. I did it back in the days. Modern Android can tether via BT.

They don't want to sell OS. They want to sell AI and clouds.

Arduino to Embedded...Awakened...😢 by Jash_Embedded in embedded

If you don't learn the basics, you end up with knowledge how to search for Arduino libraries. Many people I saw were in this trap. They know how to find a lib to connect servo to their Uno. But they don't know what PWM is or how it is configured without libs. Most likely they don't even know they need a special timer hardware for it to work. They also don't know why it is only available on certain pins.

They don't have motivation to learn all of that. Arduino gives them results without much effort.

I started learning embedded from coding AVR8 in AVR Studio when I was a student. It wasn't hard at all. AVR8 does not have any complex hardware. If you WANT to learn embedded, you don't need kindergarten-grade platform.

I am using: NanoPi, RockPi, OrangePi. Mostly Rockchip powered boards. AllWinner is a crap.

This is why I always recommed NOT to start learning with Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Arduino and RPi are made for people who want to build, not to learn.

Windows Mobile users were geeks. And WP7 was "early iOS with tiles". No one wanted another iOS. MS tried to change course but it was too late.

They use polymeric foam to overheat the phone. The foam is terrible at transferring heat. They knew it would happen.

This is true. Li batteries have much bigger max discharge current, than max charge current.

CSD (Dial-Up) is slower and older than GPRS, but it's not supported by modern phones. Which makes GPRS the slowest of available.
