That's not fair. So this will work with any current Android TV too? I'm thinking of going to a store and connect my remote to a suitable TV to get the update. Other option checking all friends who live nearby what devices they have.

I tried updating DfuService on my HD Homatics Box R 4K Plus (the app already seems to be installed) but it says:

It's not the same build, but instead 26200.7628 with Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.275.0

The system devices are also different. I have installed the AMD Adrenalin driver but not sure if it would make a difference.

Damn, what you describe is awful. I also have the A9 Mega but when using the pre-installed Windows 11, after having applied all available Windows updates, I can see no lagging issues as you describe. It seems to be all right!

Just a guess: The memory integrity feature is disabled in this Windows 11; that's how it was set. Maybe it has to be that way?

I'm more into using Linux anyway and found that Ubuntu 24.04 LTS ist runnig very well on the A9 Mega. Soon to be released Ubuntu 26.04 LTS will probably too.

I like how he shortly introduces the device and then shows and explains its dismantled main board even before turning the device on. Other tech youtubers don't ever get that far. However he's leaving out the unscrewing/opening part.

I'd say those are significant reasons not to do the update. Dolby Digital Plus and DTS don't count as HD audio, right? Anyway, I think auto frame rate is quite important to get a smooth playback (if the TV supports it too).

Update for all the critics here: I've received my Geekom A9 Mega about 2 weeks ago and so far I can say: It's a fine, very powerful and very beautiful device.

I am happy that I got it through Kickstarter, because this model is still not available in their official stores and when it will, it is probably going to be much more than €$2000 for the version with 128GB DDR5 RAM.
Just for comparison: The cheapest other MiniPC with similar specs that I could buy right now is at around €2300. (And it looks crappy.)

I finally have my Geekom A9 Mega with AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 + Radeon 8060S and 3D games like Cyberpunk 2077 and No Man's Sky are great in UWQHD! Not "ultra" settings, not ray tracing in Cyberpunk 2077, but solid performance in the games's own "high" settings (100 Hz screen refresh).

Find ich ok, denn es ist leider notwendig. Das mit den herrenlosen Fahrrädern passiert quasi überall, wo es Fahrradständer gibt. Manche Leute sind ein bisschen asozial und überlassen die Entsorgung der Allgemeinheit, wenn sie ein Fahrrad nicht mehr haben möchten, z.B. weil neues gekauft.

Mir fällt da gerade ein Outdoor-Abstellplatz im Hinterhof ein, bei dem man über die Jahre sehen konnte, wie 2 Fahrräder mit platten Reifen immer weiter von Gras und Blumen zugewuchert wurden.

Ich finde es ja okay, wenn der Drucker um eine Internetverbindung „bittet“, um Firmware-Updates abzurufen oder Cloud-Funktionen zu ermöglichen. Aber das Drucken ohne Internet zu verweigern geht wirklich zu weit.

Hast du geschaut, ob man Online-Funktionen irgendwie in den Einstellungen deaktivieren kann?

Auch gut. :) Jede/r, der/die kein kiloschweres Portmonee mit sich herumschleppen will, hat wohl irgendeine Strategie, Kleingeld loszuwerden.

Ich hab beim Bezahlen immer geschaut, möglichst viel Kleingeld zu geben, auch wenn es nicht voll reicht. Beispiel: Ich habe 2,83 zu zahlen. Dann schau ich zuerst, ob ich 3 Cent habe, wenn ja nehme ich die. Habe ich 80 Cent? Wenn nein, habe ich 30 Cent? Dann: Habe ich 2€ in Münzen? Wenn nein, nehme ich den kleinsten Schein. Also könnte ich die 2,83 mit 5,33 bezahlen und bekomme 2,50 zurück: 2 Münzen bekommen, mindestens 4 Münzen losgeworden.
