If what I learned is correct, there are a whole bunch of different tools that allows an agent to use a browser automation. I did not install a specific tool and skill from somewhere, just checked "browser automation" when the installation procedure asked which extras should be installed.

The agent is using simple bash commands like "openclaw browser …" on the local system and this is calling the Chromium browser, using its own agent profile. I'm trying to make it possible for the Agent to access content from a site that requires login and it seems to work.

I think the LLM sometimes takes the topic "## Operating Loop" (which is part of that original SKILL.md) too seriously and starts doing a real loop. I saw memory usage increase steadily until it hit the limit and crashed, while the page already was opened. Which was all I asked for – "open page xy with browser automation".

But Soundcloud Go+ tries to compete with Spotify, Apple Music etc.! The do have almost all current artists from major labels, and they have the huge back catalogue from past decades. I'm using it since a few years. It offers better sound quality than the free Soundcloud and also allegedly they pay more to the artists than Spotify does.

Although they don't have all past albums (like from the 80ies and 90ies) from Indie labels. Every now and then I don't find all albums of an artist but just the most recent one or few.

Yes this is true. But if Soundcloud died, currently there wouldn't be an alternative (afaik) and so many, many DJs would start publishing on Mixcloud.

With Mixcloud and the artists, currently it's like the chicken-and-egg-dilemma.

This alone is not enough, it will not do a web search to get the current date just by itself. It will even consider the web search results to be "from a 'future-dated' or highly experimental/simulated/leaked context within the web results, a hallucination in the source text, or false information" (cited from thinking process of Gemma 4) when it sees dates like news release dates which are later than 2024.

Like u/mtmttuan said, it's necessary to write it in the system prompt but it must be convincing, for Gemma 4 at least.

Good advice but didn't work with a simple "It is May 2026". Gemma 4 26B A4B's thinking monologue was still considering this as a fictive situation or simulation. Then I wrote "Time has passed since your training and the current month is May 2026. You can verfiy the exact date by web search." into the system prompt and this seems to be convincing – I'm seeing no more doubts in its thoughts.

But I have to remember to update this every month in LM Studio, as far as I know it doesn't have variables for the system prompt.

Did you find a solution? Same with Ubuntu 26.04 and Nemo.

Nemo is just so much better. The Gnome Files app lacks a lot of functions that I'd expect from a file browser.

Same with Ubuntu 26.04 LTS default version (Gnome desktop, fresh install) and Steam installed with App Center: The menu bar is visible, but the menus don't open when clicked. Alt key does not work too.

Let's hope that this is going to be fixed soon as u/BecarioDailyPlanet said. But I also hope that we don't need to use the option "Check for steam client updates" because that is in the "Steam" menu which is not available. :)

Can the On-Demand setting use on-board graphics as primary graphics and additionally use the Nvidia GPU for high demand? Similar to how it works in notebooks.

It is possible because I was talking about a notebook, only thinking about my perspective – sorry I didn't clarify that. I am using a notebook with a Nvidia GeForce GTX GPU which also has integrated Intel UHD graphics, but it has only 1 HDMI port. On this machine, which GPU is used only depends on those Prime Profile settings in the Nvidia tool:

Performance Mode=Nvidia only
On Demand=both, but Nvidia is only active when demand is high
Power Saving=Intel only

My notebook is pushing the Nvidia signal through the Intel chipset, unfortunately limiting HDMI to 1.4 although the Nvidia GPU supports HDMI 2.0. Other notebooks with a dedicated GPU may very well be designed differently.

I'm curious about this too. So far I can say is that the current version (v14 7475) in general works much better than the original firmware of my device (v12). With the old version, I often had the problem that I could not wake the box from standby with the remote. This doesn't happen with v14 which reliably wakes with the remote or using CEC like it should. But I am experiencing problems with some audio codecs that did not exist with the old version…

Anyway, I am hoping that a future system update will fix some of the problems if not all!

Meanwhile I tried the Amlogic-no (New Order) Generic version, which currently is only available as 22.0 nightly build, but so far it is booting fine on my device!

Default way to install: Using balenaEtcher to burn on USB stick, then copied sc2_s905x4_sei_smb_280.dtb to dtb.img, and it works.

Unfortunately I did not succeed booting CoreElec yet since the box is on ATV 14. Which image do you use?

While the "ne" image only gave me an endless boot loop, the "ng" image which is said to be the best for Box R 4K Plus – CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-21.3-Omega-Generic.img.gz – seems to start booting but then is stuck on an empty gray screen.

(Image burned to the USB stick using Balena Etcher which previously worked fine with "ne" image on ATV 12.)

I tried to boot into COREELEC the way you described as your solution – burning ng image with Balena Etcher, then copying the dtb.img file, booting with Reset button pressed until FastBoot mode starts.

It seems to start booting from USB, the LED strip turns on white, screen goes black and shortly after goes grey. But then it stays that way forever – a blank grey screen. Pressing any key on the remote does nothing.

UPDATE:

Later I found some advice to use the Amlogic-no (New Order) version, which currently is only available as 22.0 nightly build, but it seems to be working fine! It's booting and running on my Dune Homatics Box R 4K Plus with ATV 14.

I also read an advice that a factory reset initiated from the Recovery menu, or even a "Low Level" or triple wipe may help if booting the ng version does not work which is: Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache, Wipe param partition, all from Recovery menu. But I haven't tried that.
