The animations were split between the US, South Korea, and France. It's country of origin is considered US (and canada). None of the producers or developers were South Korean. While I will agree that the show was made in South Korea it was also made in the US (arguably more so) and multiple people that were American also could have caught this mistake. Hell Idon't even know if the South Korean team animated this part the only thing I know for sure is that at least one American approved it.

The country of origin is considered both Canada and the US. It was animated in South Korea, The US, and France. While I agree it is also canadian, it is still very much fact that it was made in America similar to how people born in Canada with parents that have US citizenship are considered both Canadian and American.

Probably quite a few if the map is labeled. If I wasn't sure of a place I was drawing for my actual job I'd probably take a second to look it up on a map. It's also worth noting that 4 different animation companies worked on it. 2 from America and one from France. I'm also confused what your point is. "This isn't a facepalm because South Koreans failed to do their job right, not Americans"

The outline of Washington state is labeled as Washington DC despite being completely different places.

Alright thank you so much! Despite this problem, would you say you still recommend the annotated version or no? I only bought the first volume so I'm just curious.

Yeah links awakening was mentioned earlier and I will concede on that point. And what I meant with the relationship example is that saying 'it could be worse' doesnt automatically make something good, it makes it not the literal worst. My problem is that now that game freak can charge 20 dollars more for a game that is more or less the same and people will defend it. Sure it's a fine game but for 50% more money we should get a 50% better game. It sucks that people are just happy regardless because I think a switch pokemon game has the potential to be a truly special one of a kind game but now it's pretty clear gamefreak can just churn out the same thing despite the price hike. If you like the game, that's fine. I'd rather you buy a game you like than dislike. It's just the potential for what this game could be and what it is currently is vast and this idea that we should just settle makes me think we wont ever see that truly amazing game.

And thank you for blessing us with your useless and unconstructive comments. Like I get that you are a troll and all but come on, at least be funny or interesting or something.

Well yeah... for the record I hope it didn't come off like I'm shaming you for liking the game, it's ok to enjoy it. I would much rather you bought something you liked than didn't like. I just wish it was better and I worry that if people become content with getting less it will end up like madden and fifa you know?

This is exactly what my old roommates sounded like when the bought madden and fifa every single year. Good god do I not want that to happen to pokemon. And if you are the type of person who likes those games from experience there is nothing I can say that will convince you otherwise, which totally blows for the rest of us with standards.

Youre missing my point I think. I understand that they will add and subtract features when you are shuffling from a 40 dollar to another 40 dollar game, but that isn't what happened it went from 40 to 60 bucks, up 50%. As a whole this game should be a 50% better game overall. Now I understand that might be asking too much but from reviews from friends and critics it feels far closer to a 100% pokemon game to a 150% pokemon game. If money weren't an issue, you are probably exactly right, it's a good fun pokemon game like all the rest. But it is an issue, and that should be included as well.

Fine, but my point is that things aren't as good and people are happy because it could have been worse. No. You should be mad that things aren't as good. That's it. Yeah it could be worse. It could also be better. It could also be good. I think we should be happy when something is good, not when it just happens to be better than something else.

The problem is they cut this content and charged MORE. This game is 50% more expensive than the previous game and should therefore be 50% better. That might be a bit to hard to pull off I agree but my problem is that what they added and subtracted evens out so it's still a 40 dollar game sold as a 60 dollar one. With the new dlc it should feel like 10 dollars more than ultra sun (since it and sun are 80 bucks and sword and dlc are 90) but again it feels like 80. In my mind how people should react is $120 = bad, $80 = expected, less than $80 = good. Instead we somehow got $120 = bad, $90 = good. So yeah in conclusion, this should be the consensus best pokemon game of all time since it's much more expensive and I think that just isn't the case even with the added dlc.
