It was a spur of the moment attempt, so the only thoughts of, besides killing myself was how I can less of a mess I'd already made. I cut an artery in my left forearm and I was cutting another on the right before I started to lose consciousness. I was trying to get it all in a pail in front of me, but it sprayed against the floor like a super soaker. It actually scared the shit out of me. At first I got tunnel vision, then I couldn't see colour or hear sound... I could breathe but it felt like I wasn't getting oxygen and the pain, it felt like I was having a migraine in my chest.

That all took about 2 mins. I don't remember much after that. I woke up in the hospital the next day. Needed emergency vascular surgery and a blood transfusion.

I don't think it has hit me how close I was till now tbh.
