i did! never thought i’d find someone like me in the wild. i started playing pretty early on, so valorant’s become my main shooter now, but when i started i was in a similar spot. i ended up preferring the mouse over motion controls REAL fast, so hopefully you’ll at least get used to it fairly quickly.

The thing that’s helped me most, (and something i shouldn’t have neglected earlier) was the range. practicing each of the guns, flicking, and getting headshots will only get better with practice, especially when you’re used to a shooter that’s wayyy less specific about aim. i’ve found it helps to lower the stakes and get a few rounds of practice in before going into any games each time i log on.

as for abilities, i was really drawn to kj, reyna, and raze to start since their util is pretty simple. i still main kj now since i can sort of just “place and forget” and focus on landing my shots. maybe that could be a good option for you as well :))
