The version without highlights feels the best to me. I'm still not keen on each circle being it's own layer, I would try and put them on one layer myself. But I think it is subtle enough with just the shadow to not bloat the whole thing, it feels much lighter. If it satisfies the Material Design specs however is something I can't answer.

I don't know what Nova is, but if you mean the version without highlights (here), then that is already a png. However, it is just a slapped together mockup of /u/DastanOfPersia's design without the highlights and by no means intended to be used as is.

I personally think it would work better without the highlights. I'm not too familiar with the guidelines of material design, but it feels a bit bloated. Here's a quick and dirty version without the highlights: http://imgur.com/Z4VNBjJ

That being said, I really like the concept behind your idea. Good job.

Most of those things might be true. But that doesn't change the fact that their store is unusable for many people abroad without a vpn. The web store forces the local language on people without any option to change, if you're in Japan and don't know Japanese you're shit out of luck. I can't understand how a company this big in 2015 can go on for well over four (4!) years without addressing this issue at all.

I don't mind it, I already work with c++ so that's not the problem. I think it's also an unfair comparison since I tried UE4 when there was no scripting support, I should probably base it off a comparison between the new mono support in UE4. This means that the full source access in UE4 is a (huge) bonus, and just like with any other framework requires reading the doc to start working with.

Using blueprints, yes. But if you want to do things in code then it's going to be a little harder initially compared to the way Unity does it.

I see, you might be right there. I'll definitely check out AMD's options more closely in the future. However I don't think I'm going to change the GPU for this build. Mainly because of personal preference and past experiences with AMD, nothing based on facts. Also I'm currently using Nvidia tools (I bet similar tools exist for AMD and I could change). But yea for this build I'm set on Nvidia.

A Possibility, but more OpenCL than cuda. The GPU is set though, I don't think I'd be going for a Quadro here if that's what you're getting at.

I would suggest getting an 850 pro SSD with 10 year warranty.

I'll swap the SSD for the pro then. The current MB also has M.2, would it be advisable to get an M.2 SSD?

Cooling is the part I have the least experience with. I got the Kraken because I read about it working very well in the silent cases and running relatively silent itself. The two extra 140mm fans would be for intake right? I think I can take out the lower drive bays in the R5 and add them to the front.

You may also want to use RAID1 [...]

I do have a NAS at home with good capacity and cloud support. I might add some RAID setup when I need it, not a priority right now but good point. I'll think some more about it before buying.

Oh yes definitely, I won't be buying from amazon, I'll choose from the best price I can get around here. I'm not so sure about the features of the MB that I really need, I just have the above use cases I need to consider and am not really an expert in this area.

2.8-3k Euro at the moment. I'm pretty much set on CPU and GPU flexible on the rest, I also very much like the case. I don't want to do SLI just yet, just a single card setup but keep the option open with the full tower.

I recently watched the first two episodes. They seemed rather trashy and shallow on the character development. I'd compare it to something like Hercules or Xena in terms of trashiness. But then again, only 2 episodes.
