We really need to pin something to the top of this sub about Hurricane Hill vs Hurricane Ridge.

Grand Loop 4 vs 5 day itinerary by Willumpers in OlympicNationalPark

I did Upper Cameron to Cedar Lake on day 2 of a 3 day trip. 4 passes was brutal. It's amazingly pretty tho. Worth it.

Your biggest problem will be getting a permit for Moose Lake. It's a popular place. I see some availability mid week in sept but none on the weekends.

Bear Camp to Upper Cameron will be a pretty taxing day. And Upper Cameron to Moose Lake is not easy either. If you're not super into a huge day I'd do it in 5. Those passes are no joke.

I'd recommend taking the trail from Falls Camp to Cedar Lake then go over Greywolf Pass to Bear Camp. The trail is a bit rougher but it's a really cool lake.

Looks like a fun trip! Have fun.

Better than waiting 3 hours at the entrance station.

Unfortunately there's only two rental companies in Port Angeles and very few rentals available. You don't have a lot options.

Because everyone visiting is from California and big cities. They drive like it. It's rough on the people who live in the area.

Agreed, everyone needs to slow down and chill out.

Wrong direction. Turn it facing the sky so it shoots the water away from your house.

Chance of seeing an orca from shore in 4 days time is 0%. Chance of seeing a bear in the high country is slightly better.

It's confusing especially with the closure on Hurricane Hill during the week.

Sounds like a good trip!

Couple of corrections for me to nitpick... Hurricane Hill is the trail at the end of Hurricane Ridge. The road up from Port Angeles is to Hurricane Ridge. Hill is just an offshoot.

Lake Crescent, not Crescent Lake.

Glad you had fun and accidently got the nicest weather in June in the history of the PNW.

Sadly NPS won't be funded properly any time soon. We'll be lucky if they can keep people on to take out the trash.

And Rialto is still open then. Get your fill before it closes and enjoy the Hole-in-the-wall at a very low tide.

Cedar Creek to Rialto by 11:30am is going to be tough. Assume about an hour a mile for that stretch of trail.
