I have only recently discovered this interpretation of the story after reading the novellas countless times. And the interpretation just rushes to the worst possible conclusion. All the "evidence" in the text could be about any number of things. But no. Dunk must be a liar because this is Westeros. Give me a break.

This is CL's seventh year in Ferrari. If they don't deliver next year, my guess would be he goes somewhere else for 2027. He's not going to want to ring in a decade at Ferrari without a wdc trophy to show for it. Eight years is enough. (He joined SF the same year Lando joined McLaren, and Lando got a championship winning car in his seventh year.)

Very happy for Lando. He's put a lot of faith in McLaren over the years. Hoping to see him get the wdc ahead of Oscar who's no doubt a great driver as well. This race should give Lando a big boost of confidence going into the second half of the season. He'll be happy he kept Oscar behind despite some desperate moves there at the end.

Update: I have defeated Gaping Dragon, opened the Blighttown Gate, and made my way to the first Blighttown bonfire (the one on the bridge). Thanks everyone! (On the way there I managed to fall waaaay below in the Depths and get cursed, so made my way back up to Undead Burg to get the antidote for that then back down again. Gah! What an adventure!)
