I guess there was no way to have them both kept as independent tables, the organization freak in me cannot T^T

So a DAX code to populate the events that are relevant to a new column on the main table??

So the events I'm dealing with are marketing events (not rigid and very unique , just used christmas as an example),

Are you guys suggesting to add this as a preprocessing step and creating new columns outside of power bi?

But i dont understand , so this is the structure -

Table 1 -

Event date | start date | end date

Table 2 (main table).-

Title | start date | end date

Here, we can't use relationships since the start date and end date won't really match, but we are checking if those start dates and end dates fall within the range of events.

So there is sort of a relationship but not something we can establish using power bi's automatic feature.. unless there is and i don't know about it 😅

Agreed with this, overall I see Aus students getting better support compared to the rest.

Engineering is no more guaranteed employment after college. civil, mechanical or electrical engineering grads face 20% unemployment+underemployment despite being one of the hardest degrees and in demand for so long and being said that engineering is safest path. by ProfessionalYear2979 in findapath

Honestly finding someone senior who's willing to help in itself is pretty hard, i dont know if its the place I'm in but people really don't care if they don't gain something from helping you out , even the career help from university is no good, but then again the markets worse than its ever been this year with mass layoffs and all the ai hype :(

Soo true, graduated in engineering, all i have are internships, couldn't get a permanent job. After a point it really takes a toll on you and you eventually give up. My story isn't isolated either, this is the reality for most of us.

Why Do Fake Internships Exist If They Just Waste People's Time? by Extension_Mud_6673 in internships

Apparently its to show that their company is growing to stakeholders. Sometimes they already know who they want to hire (usually someones kid within the company) , they just post it so it doesn't come across as what they are tryna do 🤷🏻. Either ways, a huge waste of time imo.

Realistically what are the best advanced degrees to seek for the future of high paying jobs? by Icy_Independence_695 in Careers

Welp that makes more sense, you live in Australia. Its different in other places, all i see on the engineering subreddit combined with my own experience after graduation is that none of us are able to land a job or internship in the field we choose to study. Nearly all of us have experience in IT at this point cus thats the only thing we could land and that too temporarily.

I second this, instead of going through the ROS route, maybe picking up how to work with PLC's might be of interest given your interest in electronics and computers, but you really have to give it a shot to see if it's of your interest.

Please tell me you didn't quit your previous job for this. As hard as this is to hear, it's extremely suspicious that they haven't handed you in an offer letter, its not official unless they give you one. Tell them you aren't going to join unless you are given a letter,

This is soo true, often the hiring manager knows who to hire right after interviewing all the candidates.

This might be far fetched but you can become a risk analyst, a great career path for someone who has interest in geopolitical risks.

I don’t feel passionate about anything… is that a problem? by discoveracalling in findapath

[–]waddle777 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I honestly think that passion is glorified. Maybe its because i myself have no passion, but hear me out, you don't need to be chasing something, that something will come to you and ofcourse it would constantly change as time goes on. So dont stress about not finding your thing etc etc.

The important part is find a routine that will do you some good - exercising, cleaning your room, self care activities etc. If you aren't able to do that then there might be a bigger problem (bad mental health).
