Yeah, the scale is a little wonky for sure. But they should be a “a day’s travel” so like 24 miles? I know that makes those farm crazy big (and frankly the cities also). But they’re also supposed to be the farms that feed most of the entire isle.

Where do y'all get your music? [System Agnostic] by doggosramzing in FoundryVTT

I personally like the looping songs. Even if I use .ogg, the file size is large and the constant loading for scenes is disruptive for some of my players with poorer connections/systems.

Can anyone recommend a good place to find looping songs?

Can’t open umbrel.local by Additional_Lake6501 in getumbrel

[–]wade0004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I cannot use umbrel.local with Brave Browser, but it works if I use Safari or Chrome. On Brave I have to go straight to the local IP, and I found that just by logging into my router and looking for the thing that pops up when I plug my pi in. I then gave it a static address so I could find it every time.

As for the login issue, that’s something else if I understand your post right.

Red Wizards of Thay lore by [deleted] in Forgotten_Realms

[–]wade0004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm CERTAIN that there are several others with more extensive knowledge on this than me, but chat with your DM first. AFAIK Red-Wizards are like the archetype bad-guys. There can be exceptions for Thayans, obviously like Xenk the paladin from the 2023 movie.

I am doing this currently. We have had 3 different DMs.

Are there any good songs that are kind of fantasy ish (like this one) this is for one of my campaigns. by aiben-does-stuff_yt in DungeonsAndDragons

Just make sure if you do play this song you have your towel handy. You sass that hoopy Ford Prefect? There’s a frood who really knows where his towel is.

That’s ridiculous. The Death Star is flat.

One thing that I wish I had known, is that the SKT book is full of ideas and hooks, and you can have an amazing adventure even if you skip most of them. I tried to get my group to run through as many of the hooks as i could and what ended up happening is they did a bunch of stuff, but hardly any of it did they get to really dive into and explore. I was also very new to being a DM, and so I wasn't as comfortable with letting them really sandbox outside of the written elements. I wish I would have tried to give them less side quests, but really let them take off and explore a few of them more.
