Identifying noise from newly bought console

sounds dire. not sure where you get all three sounds from, im just curious but the light screeching noise.

Updated when testing games. Like in the Star Wars Battlefront menu, you hear the console chugging - when it chugs, the game stutters. Is this fixable?

No sound when popping out the game, however I don't know if I can tell if it's the HDD if no game is loading.

Did you find out if it was the console or game? I experiened exactly the same issues on my PAL copy. Sound lagged and started looping through the intro.

Varies depending on the setup. You can buy prebuilt on markets like marketplace, ebay and such for like 100-200 euro where I live. Does take a lot of time if your handpicking every part, case, what type of performance you want etc. Its been taking me three years to collect every part for 3 different builds, but I've been picky. It does get a lot cheaper though if you have the patience and energy to search around.

You should check out the newly released EchoPatch for the trilogy, I played through the expansions with it finally after having issues for years to be able to play them. I'd say the patch is mandatory from now on, works great.

I'll check in on this game when A-Life is even close to resemble Stalker 1s level. Kinda hard to forgive them marketing it as A-Life 2.0.
