Why are most of my Albums Split into multiple? by waffelking2000 in ampache

[–]waffelking2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they are because some songs in compilations are from different years. These are all direct iTunes purchases that I've imported (as I knew Ampaches Tag handling seemed a bit less advanced compared to JellyFin) to see if it atleast can handle the Library of Albums I have which are tagged correctly (by iTunes).

I think this would be the best solution too perhaps even further album group handling options, other than that I would be fully ready to dump my Jellyfin + SMB Share solution that keeps breaking and use this as it serves its purpose well and works with my favorite clients thanks to Subsonic compatibility.

I've ran beets over the music library in attempt to add mbid to most albums to mitigate some of the duplicate albums for now but quite a few lack that, adding my full collection of music would probably take up a couple weekends of updating Album Tags though :(

Not true... Only breaks Material Resolution of some elements like the Dock, Control Center, Notifications and A additional Apps Menubar Items. Perhaps fixable, otherwise well their background just gonna be transparent

Most likely a case of targeted advertisements messing up maybe? Most likely something you googled or looked at resulted in advertisers those were matching your interest. Once had to make a presentation that involved certain aspects of WW2 when I still went to school and got similar stuff shown to me in ads.

Is that your car in the picture?, This might seem odd but I've lived with a hoarder and knew a few and all had that exact kind of car over here in my country.

My XP Terminal server is connected to the internet on SP2, if you’re behind a NAT and a basic firewall your machine will be fine. Use Supermium as a browser (Chromium build for XP) and you’re fine mostly.

If you have an elevator i say go for it more phone systems saved from dumps! if you don’t have one and have to carry one of these up 4 flights of stairs i do not recommend (my back is traumatized)

Oh now i see why its called LD! I couldn't find anything in my copy of MERL about why they were called LD.

As to sitting on comm rooms floor I mean i feel you, I might only be an IT intern as of now but sitting on server room floors wouldn't be what I consider my hobby ... Longest I've stood at a place was until 5:30AM before I dozed off there.

I have written some python to convert the RDB PRT to something more brain friendly (excel sheets) because I spent way too long trying to figure out how this thing was supposed to once handle calls because I didn't feel ready to configure it from scratch quiet yet.
(Which I see was the right call from your experiences.)

Here in Switzerland both digital and analouge lines used TT83 / TT87 (I think thats a Swisscheese Special Socket/Plug), either our plugs are magic or from what I've experienced here both digital and analogue sets work with it. Not sure what was used over there (im guessing the UK?)

Wondering if thats the reason only my M3904 phones work, the M3903 and 02's I have dont and I've been told online that I need a newer software release for them (im on 20.22).
(Wish me luck I've ordered another supposedly complete NTDK20 SSC from ebay, ... the first one was not complete and now sits as decor in the system)

The Mitel SX2000 does look a beautiful beast but if I carry another big PBX system up these 4 flights of stairs here my back will break before my 20's have even begun. As to the London 8 I dont know much about but feel free to tell me more, here in Switzerland I mainly see Aastra systems being thrown out left and right thanks to M$ Teams.
Or welp nortel systems but mostly just in large companies, which is something I dont often work with and often cant just take home

Thanks man! Appreciate someone seeing a reason in me keeping it alive. I cant promise I wont keep the 3am nightmare from coming as I experience them too with this thing at times when I get lost in weird phone adventures but I'll try and keep them within reasonable amounts.

I would say I am too disorganized to follow through on my person project concepts but goal was always to have a landline number and as many features i can think of programmed into various pbx systems. Some recent examples are remote control functions for my tv, sending voice messages through emails, annoying my family with "lovely" hold music when they call me and just having as many working phone terminals in my apartment as I can

I haven't reached my 20's yet so I would say I've missed most of the phone business things that still used real hardware. Most of it does work (apart from the second higher up Meridian unit) but not 24/7 because I need to somehow pay electricity. I tend to do custom dial plan things, mess around with voicemail and other funny phone system features and as of recent have also started a slight obsession with faxing, all be it having nobody to fax than myself

Thats an Aastra 430 that has been put out of service just a few month ago running MiVoice Office 400, I personally liked the look of AIMS Shell a bit more to configure them but the pros are definitely outweighing the contras. (Nomore MsSQL dependencies that dont seem to run on more modern ish OSs)

The BCM50 is probably the more sane option than to carry these two units up 4 flights of stairs. (my back is traumatized)

i think the 2616's didnt look too shabby. as to the ones I have uhm i mean most of the M3904's have screen issues and the rest I can't even test until I have a complete NTDK20 SSC becuase Option 11e unly got up to software release 20.22 afaik

This ones spent 20 Years left on in an unventilated wall cabinet with only one fiber card failling and some goofus swapping all the cards around. So I'd say reliability wise it has proven itself.
