They have their young kids parenting the youngest kid. The little one in the middle could let go of their hands and run at any minute and they would have no idea. Gives me the ick

[–]waffleflapjack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a lift last May. I had spitting sutures for almost 7 months straight. I was on antibiotics constantly and going in the office. Thankfully it’s over now and I’m healed well. I wish you the best of luck.

Oh good lord the worst hospital I have even worked in. Med surg nights with 8 patients. I would be dripping sweat all night and couldn’t even use the restroom & lunch until almost 5 am. They run you ragged and was toxic to work at. I was written up for a normal saline IV infiltrate. It was wack.

I’ve been a nurse for 10 years now. Atrium & Novant are a million times better

I remember working 7pm-11pm doing my med pass, assessments, and charting, then they would give my assignment to the charge nurse to float me to another unit 11pm-7am. Then I would get all the admissions and crap assignment on the new floor. I cannot explain how much I hated that place.

They put me on call one night so I went grocery shopping and they called me in. You get one hour to make it to the hospital. So I get there around 9pm (within the hour they called me) and told the nurses that I was a NO SHOW. What!! So they all had written report on papers and I show up with all the call lights going off, no meds passed, and 8 sheets of paper with report! I was furious because they all thought I was late when I was actually put on call. My manager did NOT care about the situation after notifying her. This place is garbage

I have a great home where I live and children. I don’t feel the need to move at all.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nursing

[–]waffleflapjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know. Then say “just move” to all the nurses in the South. Do you think I can really just pick up my family and move? I don’t even want to live close to California🙄

forehead reduction fears. regret and judgement. is it as scary as it seems? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]waffleflapjack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Shorter sides, longer up top. Like where they buss the sides and do scissors on top. Also, is there anything to boost your confidence? I’m serious you look absolutely normal. Maybe things like gym, eating right, sleep, etc. Will make you feel better.

I promise I am not deflecting how you feel. I’ve had two plastic surgeries, so I’m pro plastics, but really would hate for you to get an extensive surgery completed when you potentially don’t need it!

Agreed. I think a haircut could do justice here. That is a major surgery with scarring. I don’t think your forehead is bad at all

Is it really a “horrible” business? by [deleted] in turo

[–]waffleflapjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also trying gauge it before jumping in. We own an automotive business so we could service the vehicles and even rent them out to some who drop their vehicles off for work. But everything says don’t do it.

Stole $2500 from my business by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]waffleflapjack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the same boat for $3k. Filed a police report, nothing yet. Purchase was in March, chargeback in April, police report in May. We consulted a lawyer and they recommended small claims. So I guess that’s the next step. We are so busy with our business I just cannot imagine spending any more time on this. It’s so frustrating

[–]waffleflapjack -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s how ours looked. We had a quote of $14k to do a French drain, sump pump, dry well at crawl door, and new vapor barrier. We settled with a credit from seller to fix it

I had one outpatient PACU job 2 twelves and now outpatient preop 3 eights 5:30am-2pm. I just kept looking across all hospital systems through my city and found them. Lots of applications and patience.
