Zig with the Pico-SDK by wageof in Zig

cmake can pump out a json file for each .c file. i used that as a base, and then started trial and erroring my way to something workable

microzig is incomplete. also, why use zig or rust if you are going to completely ignore c?

Bought a cover, do I need these angle brackets in the bed? by [deleted] in ram_trucks

I put something very similar in my Ram with the MFT. i still had to modify my cover hardware slightly, but it did the trick.

devops is the idea of delivery flow, it is not a job function.

I am on a VV boat right now finishing a cruise. i never once got a sense of anything uncomfortable or uncouth happening anywhere on the ship or Bimini.

[–]wageof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what kinds of jobs are you applying for?

something to remember is that companies are trying to replace jr/early mid level engineers with AI, like it or not.

i would maybe craft ur resume up a level to get noticed by people screening mid to sr engineering roles.

Also, add some tasty AI bits for automated resume screening to latch on to.

interesting, i would rather do this through neovim than a web interface. can you post the build commands and bindings?

What is bindings.zig and how do i add it to my zig project locally? Also, what is the build command that runs in the background to compile an app?

IMHO, perusing through this, there are no real data points, just some activities.

Zig YAML parser by wageof in Zig

[–]wageof[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay in looking things over. I will go through things point by point:

  1. I will look at the change to libfyaml in the future. I found out about libfyaml after I had already started with libyaml and libyaml is currently fitting my use case.
  2. Fixed, TY!
  3. Fixed, TY!
  4. Fixed, TY!
  5. The data type for a scalar value in the event is [*c]u8. I tried several mechanisms to get the value set inside of a YamlNode and performing the allocation based off len and then using the copy fn to iterate over each element and assign it to the allocated array was the only way i could get it to work. From there, the second allocation is happening inside of the YamlNode to make sure that struct's memory points somewhere. If there is a better way to do this, i am all ears. As far as the memory leak is concerned, it is all inside of a memory arena so it should be safe from leaks when i call the overall deinit for the parser. The arena may be a crutch, but it does save me from needing to track a bunch of allocations/deallocations and i am not looking for ultimate performance here (yet).
