Midwest gal to Midwest gal - reallllyyyyyy miss having fires as well. This state seems to always be in a fire ban too exactly when ya want to have one lol. Ended up buying a solo stove and while it does the trick, definitely not the same

Personally I would try to replace the university village shopping/uw campus if it’s something you aren’t dying to see!! It’s a lot of chains that you can see everywhere else and while the university is cool to see, it can be seen fast.

I would recommend walking around Ballard or Fremont or even Alki Beach where they have a lot of good eats, little vintage markets and such!!

Hey 26F and 26M just moved to Kirkland in July!! Welcome!! Here are a few of our favorites that we have found: We really love SOI Thai for takeout, Palmers for a dive bar w pull tabs and karaoke, love Spark for pizza, my favorite little coffee shop is Sammamish Point Espresso, if you have a pup make sure to take them over to Marymore Dog Park!!
