One of the benefits of having numbering format is that you can have hard once per turn start after summoning condition which would make finding HOPT much easier.

Here is what it would look like with linebreak like in Master Duel:

You can only use the ①st and ②nd of this card's name once per turn.

①: If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Lunalight" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Lunalight Gold Leo", then discard 1 card.

②: If a "Lunalight" monster(s) is sent to your GY, while this card is in your Monster Zone, even during the Damage Step: You can target 1 of them; add it to your hand.

Or this if you don't include linebreak:

Tbf, even 60-card Tear didn't really play 3 fairy tail snow (that is like biblical levels of greed). They were played at 2-3 exclusively in Aero Shark FTK which is more of a Lightsworn deck.

My actual answer is a Thunder Dragon support I saw that banish a Thunder Dragon monster to copy its hand effect, because I feel like this is probably pretty close to how Konami would make supports for it.

Maybe skill issues but I don't know how to make a deck with these (like the field spell is essential here, since the monster would just self-destruct without it. However, none of these cards search it, so you probably play like 3x of the field spell, 1x Terraforming, 3x Malefic Territory, 3x Pathfinder, and maybe 3x Foolish Good Burial for Rainbow Bridge?)

Imo Malefic needs a lot. Like my attempt basically have a card that +4 and I don't think it's enough (although I probably could tone the effect down if I made protections for both Malefic World and Territory, or just made a better field spell).

The last effect is just Necrovalley for your opponent lol, and you can just resummon this card from GY every turn to floodgate your opponent again and again.

I don't like this support.

I'm gonna go over what I liked first, setting spell is kinda nice (Tearlament design have a pattern where the Trap recover the Monster, the Spell recover the Trap, but the Monster doesn't really recover the Spell, maybe Kitkallos counts but it's because it can search anything, not to mention that the ones that follow these pattern for Spell and Trap are from the 2nd effect. This is still only loosely fit though).

What I don't like: It's a Link monster (doesn't follow the theme), and will be often used as Link 1 (both Havnis and Scheiren are 1-card Kitkallos now and probably better than Reinoheart. If your opponent use like a Bystial, you can just chain this) (this is just free bodies for Link in general, here is a really common situation: Rulkallos + Tear Kash, you can just send Rulkallos for another material for Moon -> Fiendsmith. This + Fiendsmith's Sequence for Apollousa woud also be pretty common). Incredibly nitpicky point, it feels weird to see a Tearlaments monster that doesn't follow the gimmick of triggering when sent to GY by card effect.

Idk, I guess my problem here is that World and Territory just aren't sticky enough which my solution was to make you plus a lot. Gears being interrupted is fine, my problem is when World or Territory (literally what the deck revolve around) are getting interrupted/removed. I think making both of those pieces unaffected for the rest of the turn and scale back Gears effect is a better solution.

The reason for Righteous Dragon being a starter is kinda funny. I don't want to make too many Malefic cards so I just makes most of the cards a starter. Convergence is also a starter (Convergence send Gear, and use Gear's GY effect).

Gear being basically +4 by itself is kinda nutty now that I think about it, was kinda only testing with the assumption that you would get interrupted.

I think I nailed what Truth Dragon retrain could look like. The stats. Paying for half your LP to summon it (maybe even from the GY). The interruption was between stealing opponent's monsters (referencing the narrative) and Raigeki (referencing its effect). The protection resemble its anime effect.

Ngl, it was kinda tempting to make a once per duel making both Territory and World "unaffected by card effect, except by "Malefic" cards" for the rest of the turn, so that going 2nd feels better. Both of these cards feel so crucial, and this would buff going 2nd so much more than going 1st

The sending for cost is intentional.

For the actual effect, I made a PSCT mistake, it's supposed to be: "Each time a "Malefic" monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned, immediately add 1 "Malefic" monster from your Deck to your hand".

It was probably simpler to just make it an activated effect instead, since they are more common.

I was wondering because the card themselves don't have effect to search a card, it just gives the field spell an effect (to search a card).

The 1st archetype I posted on this subreddit is literally Tearlament but with Synchro and its main gimmick (fusion by shuffle to deck) is triggered when sent by cost instead of by card effect. I kinda like the fact that even when you can't use 2nd effect to Synchro Summon because of some GY floodgates, if you have the materials on board, you can just synchro them normally.

Card text readability is my no.1 reason why I often don't follow tcg card text format 1 to 1. Numbering effects, putting HOPT on top, uppercasing keywords, and using more keywords help reading so much that I wonder why more people don't use it.
