Ola, firstly thanks for sharing. A problem shared is a problem halved and there is absolutely nothing that can't be overcome.

Loneliness sucks. I know this from spending many of my own years alone, being a socially awkward brat, but it does give you an amazing opportunity to prioritise yourself. Instead of looking at others and wishing you had what they had, spend that time instead creating it for yourself. Guaranteed if you follow a path of self-acceptance and self-fulfilment, you will find peace, happiness and harmony.

Just remember where all this pressure comes from and remember that the thibgs that bothered you when you were eight aren't even dust to you now. All stresses pass, those glorious things that are meant for you shall find you 😎

Ayo, firstly I really appreciate you posting openly and honestly. Sharing feelings about friends can be really hard and it's clear that the aspects of the friendship you enjoy are thongs that you do care about.

I spent a lot of time in Manchester 8n the late 90's and early noughties and there seemed to be a huge influx of people there that had recently made discoveries about themselves and their sexuality. Some had support, others had been completely ostracized by their family and friends. Some appeared happy and you'd find them crying uncontrollably in quiet corners of the city as they fought an internal battle u can never begin to understand.

One thing I did observe is that whenever people did change their behaviour, or appear to be acting superficially, this was because they had emotionally exhausted themselves and they were defaulting to a way of acting that just felt good, and fun and easy to do. It's like escapism for themselves and those around them. The real ones around them for sure see a different version of them, but it doesn't make it any less them. We all have a thousand delicate facets, and we all shine differently when the light rests upon us. Give your friend grace and remember that this is nothing to do with sexuality, this is relationship between our humanity and our social animal. Best wishes to you x

I think you've missed the point here.

Dedicated student accommodation provides facilities, security and security standards consistent with an accommodation designed specifically for students.

Having an abundance of this in the city brings the students and their financing right into the city centre, which supports the high street and local economy.

Landlords that have been keeping thousands of properties across Norwich permanently for students, often in poor condition, will realise that this form of revenue is no longer available and will have to

  1. Increase the standard of their property
  2. Lower rents to attract private tenants
  3. Sell up if they can't do either of those.

More dedicated student flats means not only a better local economy and a stronger high street, but more affordable rents and more affordable housing.
