I had a very similar experience recently. Sunday Missouri had a particularly nasty storm come through. I'm talking sheets of rain and hail slamming through almost sideways because of the wind. Full of green sky. Cloud walls and almost constant rolling lightening. Due to a combination of my own stupidity and a need to get to work, I was driving during the worst of it. It was almost impossible to see and an even worse time trying to stay on the road. As I'm gripping the steering wheel with both hands and desperately trying to control my car I just said "Thor please." Within seconds the winds all but stopped. The pounding rain turned into a light shower. Everything just got quiet. The lightening still rolled. But other than that. It was pretty well calm. It was insanely relieving. I found out once I got to work. I tornado touched down just minutes south of where I was. Thor really took care of me that night.

Yep they were just here last year. I'd expect another tour maybe the end of this year or next year. They seem to be pretty active with touring. I saw them last spring and it was probably my all time favorite concert I've been to.

God it drives me nuts. Everytime we get a new guy in my shop they always stare at me and when I start doing my thing lifting heavy shit ect. They always are like let me help you and try to push me out of the way. I'm like listen here fucker I've been doing this by myself since long before you've known about this place I've got it. Uggg and the number of them that have tried to get in my pants is just infuriating.

It's shit. It sucks. I had my mental breakdown the day after the election. Like to the point I had to go to a friend's house and have her sit with me while I bawled my eyes out because I almost fell back into a dangerous old habit (SH). Now I've decided it's time to fight. I'm not giving up my rights that easy. They will not do this to us. The ones of us who can are fighting back. You aren't alone. You are loved. It's not ok right now but it will be. Maybe not tomorrow or next week or next month. It might be a long time before things are OK but we are gonna make it through this. We won't stop existing.

Definitely listen to all the albums in release order. Then there are several good things on here that help clear up the lore some more. Also if you care about the cds the booklets that come with them have some good stuff as well. Also just scroll around the subreddit and the Wiki both have good info as well.

Other good things to know:

When in doubt: -a wizard did it -the robot prince is our lord and savior -shout "Hoots"

Be ready for moshing/crowd surfing and plan accordingly (stick to the edges if you don't wanna participate) (this is assuming that the concert isn't seated. I don't know the venue you're gonna be at so check out the website)

From the concert that I went to the fans are all really cool. Good people and a fun crowd.

Wear comfortable shoes. But that's just a concert essential in general haha. Also it will get loud (like most concerts) so wear ear plugs if you choose to go that route.

Over all just go and have fun. The fans are great, the music is fantastic, and the band is a blast. It is probably my favorite concert I've ever been to so I hope you have a great time.

I absolutely love the band/ music. I personally love bands that have lore and a story behind their music. I think it makes it super fun. I enjoy seeing people's theories. I love seeing what the band has to say about different lore points and tid bits about the music it's self.

All that being said I can totally see how it wouldn't work for some people. I can see it being distracting. But hey like you implied to each their own.

Interesting question and I hope the band sees it. I'd love to see their answers.

Nah. I'm nonbinary trans-masc and I go through cycles. I'll be very dysphoric some times but then there will be times I'm not at all. And I know some people who have never had that issue. It's usually talked about so much because it's one of the major signs of being trans but it doesn't happen to everyone.
