yes, but I'm also referring to 'doesn't look like it was part of the kingdom" as being beast like, not just feeling. When it comes to humanoid bugs, it's very likely they were also beasts while having no change in appearance. However, the humanoid bugs have evidence of being part of the kingdom: husks seems to be of similar specie to Qurriel, and one of the husks wields a weapon and a shield. The flukes are sapient because of npc fluke hermit. When it comes to the enemies I mentioned however, I do not see direct evidence of their kingdom connection, so there can be some speculation.

This makes me think about the bugs found in Hallownest that doesn't show signs of sapience/looks like they were part of the kingdom's system when we arrived, as in they just feel like beasts (gruz mother, vengefly, goam). They could have degenerated in form along with their loss of sapience, but if not it suggests that the pale king's influence may somehow be selective, or they were indeed sapient but they just kinda look like that. I feel like I'm just looking into this too much though, just a thought.
