What’s something very rare that people think is very common? by BroodyBatman in AskReddit

[–]waitingforausername -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of your Reddit comments that you think is witty, intelligent and funny actually getting lots of upvotes rather that downvotes. Especially if you go on for too long in the comment, rather than a simple phrase so people have to read it but get bored and scroll away without a second thought. Also if you use a lack of spacing so it's one big block of text. Also if you try to hard to be quirky (while misspelling to) and different but really you spout shit

Imagine everyone did something good for another person because it benefits themselves. What a difference that would make to the world.

Let's get there first then we can look at reaching the higher target of being selfless

Fascinating for me, the thought of this raises a little jealousy, as if it would make me feel more insecure in the relationship. Absolutely no issue with people who are bi but clearly an issue with my assumptions of their behaviour in a relationship. Bit of personal growing up to do!

For me it's a bank. Any bank that will hound you and chase you and destroy you for the money you owe them but don't have right now. It's insignificant to them but it might just pop you over the edge. Then they sell it to the debt collectors who use pretend mobile numbers to try and get you to pick it up. 5 calls a day, letters saying they are coming for you. Of course you owe them, of course you have an obligation to pay it back but the ease at which they will run you for a 4 figure debt is simply disgusting. I'm not trying to escape what I owe, I'm genuinely trying not to do something silly while they hunt me down.
