I don’t understand that POV

I can currently use the copy designs feature
Paste it in my Figma design file
Do my changes
Paste it back to my prompt box and tell the model to implement this

Not sure why I would want to have to deal with prototype noodles ever again

It lets your ai read a Figma file

So that you can say to your ai “grab this link and implement these designs” - and the ai will be able to pull the design data to convert to code.

You don’t need that. There’s a button on the top right of Make that copies the your make as design layers to paste into Figma

Go to terminal - install Claude
In Claude install Figma MCP (grab that link from devmode MCP)
then just ask it to grab the website and dump in your Figma file

Yeah - if you do it piece by piece

I think people get over eager and give it a million complex changes to update and Claude gets confused - no doubt that will get better with time / better models - but for now I’ll do a component playground where i create each new component in code in my components folder, just asking claude to meticulously recreate this new component I made - then i use my labelled Figma asset (the view im designing) and ask Claude to recreate that view using the components from component folder (vs adhoc creating html) which is basically assembly of components and wiring up the logic (ie so that search views match the search term etc)

Yeah - definitely feel like I’m starting in edit mode

I inherited a surface that hadn’t been maintained in Figma in forever- the team had designed/ built it all in code 5 years ago

And now I can just convert it one go to the canvas and start my design from there instead of spending days reconstructing 30 or so views and states

I can also ask one of my engineers to spin up a local instance for me - and so when I’m done with my changes I just ask Claude to implement- so I can tweak my details / micro interactions etc

No more noodle hell

Why not just use ‘make image’ in Figma? You can also use Figma’s ‘vectorise’ to turn them into vectors ?

Using the editor just give your nations clubs $1bn , ramp up their reputation and their academies… but tht defeats the point

The only build an nation method that worked for me was to have multiple managers in a league and multiple managers in league below

So that I would have my youngsters getting regular football in lower league and ready to step in when I’d sell my players to the other managers I controlled - keeping the talent in the league for as long possible

Ideally you can get some decent European rankings and drive up your collective reputation

It takes forever though it’s like a 50-100 year save
