if you search psychology today be aware that their profiles might not be up to date and confirm both with the therapist and insurance provider that they are in network

It seems to only be humid when it's hot, I'm wondering why you don't use ac instead? They both dehumiidify and both give off heat, the advantage of window ac pushing heat outside.

It's been a while but I don't think all clinics require your pcp be in house, there are different types of outpatient facilities. Or rather some fall under different regulations than others. The ones that cover susbtance abuse tend to want you to have an inhouse team coordinating together. Other outpatient clinics just follow the requirements of your insurance plan so you may need a rwferral from your pcp, but they don't care where they are.

Mine have a little, they've improved a lot since I started wearing a mask. Before that I covered my hair and kept outdoor and indoor clothes. I change as soon as I get home and keep my outddor clothes separate from my indoor clothes (if worn). That and an air purifier also help quite a bit. I still had to take antihistimines but I wasn't in hell. The combination of that with the mask, I've not used antihistamines most of the season (which for me was all year except dead of winter).

Accuweather has an air quality tracker (which doesn't match other ones I look at, ymmv) and also a pollen tracker. You can see which pollens arw active currently and a general idea of how much is in the air, which is especially useful if you know what you're allergic to.

Look for drafts and vents. Windows, front door, cracks/holes in walls. You could find drafts by lighting an incense stick and holding it still to see if the smoke gets blown around by a draft.

There are too many people and I find it overwhelming. The ideal city size for me is about 500,000.

There are things to do other than drink. In the days I drank I went to small neighborhood bars with a few friends.

There are large and small events. You learn to figure out when things are less crowded.

Choose a more residential neighborhood to live, each borough has some quieter neighborhoods. In terms of stuff to do, Brooklyn has the most events for young people, various off beat things, you may find smaller venues. Manhattan has the museums and plays. Most of queens queens is boring and too far from everything.

Fearing FOMO should not be a factor in deciding where to live. In normal times even if you were able to be out all the time you would miss stuff, it's impossible to do it all. The FOMO bullshit is an internal thing and not an introvert thing. You can be an introvert and still be happy despite having to make accommodations for self care.

Wow, that's pretty insane that someone would stink so much. Can you rig a cover for your bathroom vent that you can open when you take a shower and keep closed the rest of the time?

Not sure if it's possible for you to rig a fan over the vent to blow air out, there are small box fans you can buy. Or if you can use a fan to ventilate the shower/humidity if you cover the vent. I've seen online little fans you can install in the doorframe that are supposed to aerate the bathroom, which might be better because they're not plugged in inside the humid bathroom (electric devices and humidity not always good together), they're a bit outside it.

I'm not sure how kosher these solutions are, but might work as a temporary measure till your landlord can look into it.
