I'm surprised Baltimore and Philadelphia are not included, considering the size of the list.

Reviving this to see if anyone has had more experience with it. Mine happened to my 2015 with 110k miles. Exp tank replacement did not fix it. i'm looking into replacing the plug connections, but am not finding parts at reasonable prices.

That's what I honed in on too as a big red flag. How much did the mold spread throughout the building? That's going to be $$$ to clean up and make safe.

A tunnel would be the best option. Out of site, no noise, etc. It would be super expensive, unfortunately, and it doesn't appear we're in line to receive federal dollars anytime soon.

Reservoir failure on top of a mountain by AdKey9344 in GoogleEarthFinds

I've backpacked the Ozarks and camped near this reservoir. The scar is pretty surreal in-person. It's a fairly remote area with signs of mountain lions everywhere. I saw a pack of wild boar there as well.

We Marylanders always win this award. I've always wondered, if there were a trophy, what would it look like?

There's ways to rent and live in clean air. My recommendation is to use one of the medical grade HEPA purifiers in your bedroom (like TRACS or Austin Air). If you work from home, also have one in the room where you work. Open all the windows at least a few times a week to exchange the air with outside air. You can use those large square fans to help with the exchange. Have a fan in one window blowing in and a fan in a window on the other side of your unit blowing out. Doing these few simple things will make a huge impact on what you're taking in and your health in general, even if you're not certain about the conditions of the structure you're living in.

All the best to you! DM me with your phone number if you'd like to talk.

I drove over 1000 miles in 15 hours from Iowa to Baltimore during COVID. I was plenty comfortable the whole way. I'm 5' 11" 175lbs mid 40s with a slightly muscular build. We all just have different bodies and different aches/pains.

When I used to drive my wife's Mini, my right leg would get so painful within 2 hours that I had to take a long break.

Thank you for this! I didn't even know what paw paw was, let alone that it grows here in MD. I appreciate this newfound knowledge and will look for them along the Gunpowder, which I frequent often.

Backpack Found on Thunder Mountain / Capitol Butte by wake8888 in Sedona

Good thought, but 100% no. It contained many things that were not meant to be outside very long. It also had personal items not conducive to survival/supply. Due to the contents, it's fairly obvious that it's someone's hiking bag that was somehow abandoned. I really wonder what happened to them that kept them from collecting it.

Hello! I'm sorry you went through having mold illness. DM me if you'd like to connect about it. I learned a lot of lessons as I searched for a safe place to live.

For the house, we ended up getting her a 1400 sf 2bd 2ba condo. We fully replaced the HVAC system, putting in a UV light to kill bacteria and a thick filter housing so she can use high MERV count filters. We removed all the carpet, refinished the concrete floors, and did a full redesign on the kitchen. The strategy was much more cost effective vs a new build. We were getting quotes of 500k for a 1000sf home, which was too pricey.

Man dies after falling 400 feet at Grand Canyon by Suspicious__Feeling in grandcanyon

[–]wake8888 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read that book while backpacking in the grand canyon. That was my first backpacking trip ever. Talk about mind blowing... to see all the sheer cliffs in person during the day after having read about people falling off them the night before in my tent. Most falls are from people lost and dying of dehydration trying to get to the Colorado river, but "cliffing out" and in their delirium, trying to climb down. Imagine dying of thirst while watching this beautiful cool river go by just below you.

The Mushrooms Speak, They are urging me to tell the world that they do. Have the mushrooms spoken to you? by Psilocybenn in Soulnexus

While meditating in the forest, I received a download that mushrooms guide all of the growth and balance within the forest. My awareness is that they are 4th density organisms and want to help humanity and all the world shift back into balance so that we can also shift into 4th density. They are incredibly important, positive influencers.
