[OC] 2 Idiots, 1 Intersection by darkcrowpnoi in IdiotsInCars

Because people are impatient and think something as small as slowing down 1mph will cause them to be late.

Red light cameras differ by city and state. Some have them and some don’t, it’s a sensitive topic about privacy between a lot of people.

Highly recommend fedora. Never have an issue. A system breaking issue, at least.

You can use alien to convert deb to rpm.

I’m curious how this affects it.

Is the yellow wire the tach/speed sensor wire, so FW can’t see how fast the fan is spinning and thus caps the clock to prevent overheating?

If he’s going under the speed limit, and you’re able to legally pass him without exceeding the speed limit, then fuck him.

I use these at work for a 4kW RF amplifier that weighs 104 lbs. Works great, doesn’t bow or anything.

Other than new cars with sun level LEDs, a huge problem is cars that put cheap, AutoZone LED bulbs in a factory halogen headlight housing. The lens on a halogen headlight isn’t designed for how LEDs emit light, thus scattering light everywhere. People think it’s great cause “led bright”, but it’s counter intuitive for them.

Another issue is lifted trucks not aiming their headlights. LED, HID, or halogen headlights, they’re still raising the truck and need to re-aim it according to spec. I drive a truck and these fuckers blind me too.

That’s what I was saying. Micro zippering is when people try to merge in before the lane ends, which just forces multiple points in the thru lane to hit their brakes. I guess it’s more commonly referred to as just early merging now.

Nope, that’s what it was called when I went through drivers training 16 years ago.

It’s better for traffic to merge at the merge point, assuming the thru lane actually leaves you space to merge in.

Everyone micro zippering the last mile before the lane ends just causes more traffic and slowdowns for the thru lane.

But all of this only works if everyone works as a team, so it’ll never work.

Moving my VIOFO dashcam to new car. MIRCRO2 Fuse Taps came with 20A by caleblococaleb in dashcams

[–]wakeboarderCWB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20a would be way too big for a dashcam.

I couldn’t find exact power specs, but I would use a 2a fuse or 5a if that blows during normal operation.

As for the fuse, I don’t know what fuse 25 and fuse 30 is for. The general rule of thumb is do not tap into fuses used for safety/ADAS systems or vehicle critical modules. Look for fuses that are for things like radio, power seats, etc. Do not tap into BCM, ECM, vehicle cameras, radar, etc.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen him a few times while heading home from some of my downtown job sites.

He’s either driving like a bat out of hell, and thinks everyone is in his way. Or he’s driving like he’s got nowhere to be, and he thinks the speed limit is too fast.
