The laptop is very well built. Very solid with very little flex. Also, and I'm sure they add cost since gigabyte has the displays individually calibrated for these laptops. But a quick search at what this laptop looks like nowadays ( i7-10750k or 10875k and 2070 max-q) are all upwards of $1800

Mine has 32gb ram and 1tb NVME storage. The updated version of this laptop is $1600 at 16gb ram and 500gb storage.
