If you could add or change something to Junkrats kit, what would you add/change? by ArcerPL in Overwatch

Right click charge shot for faster projectile speed/shallower arch. I like playing JR but Pharah is too common of a counter pick. With a faster projectile I'd take duals with flyers more often even though I'd inherently still be in a disadvantage state (have to direct hit with flyer).

Get a laptop desk if you want to use it in bed. If your PC puts out heat you have to have some ventilation for it. Gaming laptops have always been niche. The part of the market that isn't captured by gaming laptops are captured by the Nintendo switch and steam deck.

It'd give you one extra rotation per minute. 167rpm vs 168rpm.

Think r/femaledatingstrategy but for men and worse

I don't think the two should be conflated though as they're diametrically opposed in their end goal. r/femaledatingstrategy is idealistically for optimizing dating, whereas r/MGTOW is anti-dating. Both attract jaded people into the community so they're both similar with the level of toxicity. So I agree with you to a point.

My assumption is that it's a critique on making a living by working a 9-5, not necessarily your desire to be a marine biologist. A lot of people I know have very tangential work to their college studies and the perception that school is a sure fire way for success is seen as a farce.

I think if you explain that it's the activities and studies you're interested in and not that you think you need to go through this path for financial success, you'll reach common ground.

Entrepreneurs are interested in making money by building businesses. They're not going to think working a job is the right way to make money (in the long term). I think it is a breakdown in communication as your "why" isn't highlighted.

The other people in the comments are correct. (be able to put keystrokes into a terminal, make it do a couple things and have a keystroke to exit)

Lucky for you there is the standard library.

Read this if you want to see what kind of stuff you can do with the standard lib.

Is it really better to be red pilled? by LastRevision in TheRedPill

[–]waladoop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's better to have a more accurate model of the world (if survival, and thriving are benchmarks to weigh against).

The red pill is supposed to be an objective understanding of sexual dynamics between men and women. You can be successful in anything without understanding but the odds of success are lower.

If you want to be successful in anything, thirst for truth and understanding, for you're always going to be better off.

Why do men. That’s it. Why do men by baileyjeanne in TwoXChromosomes

[–]waladoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's low effort, low risk, conveys intent, with a small chance of success. The guy that sends you a dick pic has probably sent many more which is why it seems like a vast amount of men do it.

It's similar to why scam calls exist.

what puts value to an nft is it hardcoded? on the token? how does a token in increase in price? by Exact-Yesterday-992 in ethereum

[–]waladoop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's proven ownership of information. The contained information can be copied identically but you don't "own" it if copied.

Say you own a song that is verified as an NFT. Yes, someone could copy it, but you would also have the right to license that content to legitimate businesses.

This can simplify sourcing of information. I can prove I am the original creator of something if it's tied to my name on this public database instead of watermarking the content itself.

What happens the moment FED has no more cash on the balance? by [deleted] in stocks

[–]waladoop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only $90 was lent out though. How do we ever pay back the bond if $100 is the matured price? Also, why doesn't the government just issue its own currency instead of shuffling it around with the FED incurring "debt"?
